The mother to all of the Draki boys and Hannah, Natalia somehow managed to run the Draki family from behind the scenes, as her husband Lenny is a complete and utter IDIOT.

She came to the states after escaping the Soviet Union, having robbed a commissar blind with Nalia. They moved into an apartment together and Natalia took up stripping.
And damn. Was she good at it.
So good that Lenny approached her after a show and asked her on a date. At first, she laughed her ass off, then realized "Oh you're sincere-"
They dated for about a year before she came up pregnant with Mike, and they had a shotgun wedding.

She loved her kids dearly, but due to Lenny's incompetence she didn't have a lot of time to spend with them. What little was, was either giving them jobs, or RARELY spending time with them in their rooms, hearing them out, reassuring them, helping with homework. Motherly things. She also loved being able to spend time with her nephews Arkadi and Andrei, Tyoma's sons, though that was just as, if not more rare, than with her own sons.

She had absolutely NO idea about Jesse's relationship with Lionel Morandi. Not until it was too late to save Jesse from that mental fuckery.

In 1954, she was shot in the lung by a corrupt cop who'd staged a set-up at one of the Draki warehouses. She died in the hospital due to the bullet having nicked an artery in her lung.

All of the kids were a MESS, but Lenny lost his mind. He couldn't accept that she had died, and fabricated the idea that she had run off with Richard Diodato, spurring the hostility between the two families, and hence why the kids all think it's bullshit. Even Rich agrees it's bullshit, and has no quarrel with the kiddos.
