Early Life

Hunny was born as the bastard child of the bee demon Polly Sucre (Wax) and the human Ignacio Bautista. Due to her status, no one could find out about Wax’s affair with a human being. She ordered her soldier Vespia to send her away as a child, leaving her in the human world.

Growing up, Hunny was a lonely child. She had to survive mostly on the streets as a wayward child. She always felt like she didn’t belong here, but were she to live in hell the feeling would persist. Eventually, she met up with the demon children Hyun (currently Sloth) and Edith (still subservient to Mammon). From there she discovered more about herself and began hating Wax as she became more bitter.

She began losing ties with her friends after meeting a man named Ivan. He was a mobster working with an east coast crime syndicate, apparently “vacationing” in El Oro for quite some time. It turns out Ivan had a lot of debts with the leader, and when he ran again so did Hunny. This is when Hunny began working for the mob herself.

Mob Ties

Hunny had experience with cars, but after being targeted by the mob she found herself setting up an illegal car lot with its very own local chop shop. From there she was able to supply the criminals with various transportation on their various gigs. Ivan left her with a mass amount of debt, but once the mob had her it wasn’t going to let her go. She was left with “insurance” payments as well as interest, keeping her from truly paying off the mob.

Eventually, she met a man named Jordi. He was a local criminal working for as a freelance mercenary in El Oro having no ties to the east coast mobsters. They met on a job, as Hunny couldn’t turn down money even if she wasn’t obligated to provide for local criminals. The two struck up a friendship until eventually becoming lovers.

Hunny wasn’t keen on giving up her secrets, keeping the extent of her mob debt secret from her boyfriend. Eventually, though, he found out. Jordi understood what the mob was like, having done deals with them in the past. He knew they wouldn’t let Hunny go so he devised a plan to forge her new papers and get her away from them. The fact that the mob was miles away was a big key in keeping their dealing secret. Jordi had enough money to keep Hunny’s payments funneling in while they relocated to another city with different papers and a new life ahead of them together.

Although they hadn’t planned on it, Hunny became pregnant with their first child Candi. This completely changed their lives, causing them to become far more domestic than they were accustomed to. Hunny wasn’t eager on having children at first due to her lifestyle, but after support from Jordi, they began to see eye to eye. Eventually, the two settled down with Candi, leaving them to conceive their next child Hanako.

Unbeknownst to Jordi, Candi wasn’t his. Hunny ran into an old flame from back in her teens named Ryu. This would go unknown until Candi’s adult life, however.

Adulting

Later on, when the children were older and more adept at looking after themselves, Jordi was offered a position in the local mafia after a mass exodus of murders of their higher-ups. Of course, Jordi jumped at the chance much to Hunny’s dismay. From there he spent long nights working, barely coming home to see his family during the day. He worked his way up until eventually the desperate mobsters needed a new leader and he was the most competent of them in the criminal underground.

While Hunny was making do with her new loneliness; she was given the horrific news that her son had been found murdered in a local field. This prompted fear, pain, and a massive rift within their family dynamic. Upon closer inspection, Candi’s soul was forcibly pulled from his body. Therefore this death wasn’t perpetrated by a random individual.

To make things worst, Hunny’s mother recently took control over the level of Greed. She killed Edith’s father Mammon and soon began her conquest over all of Hell itself. She was barely able to hold herself together as she was asked by Edith to assist her in overthrowing Wax. She left Hanako in Jordi’s care, having recently acquired a hotel for his dubious deeds, and left to Hell to finally be rid of the woman who couldn’t care enough to make sure she was safe.

After clawing their way to Wax, she and Hunny had an explosive confrontation. This left Hunny with deep gashing wounds, and a sense of ease as she finally killed the evil queen Wax. She couldn’t fully let go of her after her death. After all that pain and misery she still wanted that affection. Even though she couldn’t hurt her any longer she still would never get to hear her say one kind word as impossible as it may have been.

During the siege of Wax’s castle, her faithful sorcerer Beatrice set herself against Hunny to leave the remainder of her family shattered. She used her magic to infiltrate the human world, killing Hunny’s husband, barely skirting by with a deal he’d made with Edith to preserve him in the form of her servant after his death.
