- His ears and tail are sensitive, if anyone touches them a bit, he gets defensive and keeps a far distance. If anyone accidentally steps on his tail or presses his ears hard, he'll start to cry in pain.
Nagi is the type of person who likes to mess around by making jokes and doing harmless pranks. He's also very secretive since he doesn't want anyone judging him for his interests.
Nagi isn't good at his words and prefers to express them in action. Whenever he tries to be honest with his feelings through words, he can barely form a coherent sentence.
Back then, Nagi was the type of child who'd try to fit in with anyone. Nagi always wanted a friend but it was hard for him to lean onto anyone. He was desperate to make friends.
Nagi's "friends" would often ask him to do errands, and because Nagi was a pushover, he'd do whatever they say. One time, Nagi was told to prank a dog kemono by switching their lunches. Nagi never had negative feelings towards dogs, but when he was found out, he was almost beaten up by the student. Fortunately, his mom (who was a teacher in his school) stepped in and stopped the student.
After the messy situation, Nagi's mom asked him why he would prank him and Nagi was uncontrollably crying when he tried to explain. Despite how incoherent his words were, Nagi's mom understood what he was struggling with and taught him not to do what his "friends" tell him to do if it's something bad.
Nagi's mom began to check on him frequently after the incident, since she's worried that Nagi might get bullied. Nagi was friendless in his whole middle school life and when high school came, Nagi was a bit more talkative but he was scared of dogs. When college life came, he stopped getting in touch with his high school friends and Nagi felt lonely again.
However, he became roommates with a certain dog and from then on, Nagi's life was fulfilling.
When Nagi first got Fen as his roommate, he was worried because of his fear of dogs. He would sometimes avoid Fen and watch him from afar, but after some time Nagi warmed up to him when he saw that he was just someone who enjoys games. After warming up to Fen, Nagi has often been annoying him and pulling pranks on him. Fen is someone Nagi is comfortable with the most. Despite the fact that they banter a lot, they get along well and unlike Nagi's past friends, Fen always managed to make his interests look interesting and fun for Nagi. Nagi's too shy to say it, but Fen helped him a lot with getting rid of his fears and be more honest about himself. He's also the first person he annoyed this much and he doesn't regret it. Kind of.
When Nagi first met her, he thought she was homeless. So out of pity, he brought her in his and Fen's home, only to find out that she was just relaxing and she does have a home. However, this misunderstanding helped them become closer friends.
Zelda is Fen's pet and when Nagi first met her, he was terrified of her. While living with Fen, Nagi warmed up to Zelda and played with her more when he stopped trying to get away from her. Whenever Fen is out, Nagi would sometimes chat with her, which made him more closer to Zelda.
