Fen held cleanliness in an unusually high degree, often getting angry and grumpy whenever he deem something not 'tidy' enough. He would drop all of his work just to fix the problem, grumbling to himself when he did so. His mood would greatly improve when he come back to a clean, bright, fragrant home.
Eversince his first year in college until now, Fen always had to work with codes and numbers, but he found great pleasure in his specialty. He sweats on the tiniest, miniscule detail and would not rest until he's fixed the problem and is satisfied with the result. He could sit down and not talk for one full day when he's very much focused on doing something, whether it was working on his freelance job as a programmer or playing whatever games he found entertaining that time.
Fen is usually a man of few words and even fewer outward emotions, but when the topic greatly interest him (e.g the newest console that came out a week ago), he would become very chatty and full of smiles all throughout the conversation. His cold front, however, would melt instantly when he's surrounded by his loved ones.
Fen had always been an peculiar child, in many ways than one. His family moved from England to Japan when he was still just a small child, where he would be the odd one out among his peers. He inherited his love for cleanliness from his mother; this made him unable to find friends to hang out with, he would scoff and run away in disgust whenever children his age would ask him to play in the mud or explore a dirty, abandoned house.
His love for technology, stemming from his father's side, would help him find friends during his school years. But even that didn't stop him from becoming the quiet, nerdy, unpopular kid with the thick glasses and messy hair. Fen didn't care about them much, finding tranquility when he's left alone. He joined the computer club and learned how to properly socialize with people there. He would often reminisce his time and the friends he made during that time when he was an adult.
College was an experience for Fenris. He met many people who had the same interest as him and some were even more dedicated to the study than him. He became even more sociable during his years studying programming, especially when he met his then-roommate Nagi. He became much livelier as he spent his years alongside his new friends and roommatte- he even adopted a small pup one day when he was roaming around campus, looking for inspiration for his new game project.
After graduating, Fenris lived together with his lover and their pet golden retriever, Zelda. He was at first scared to tell his parents that he was in love with someone of the same gender, but Kylo and Dixie laughed it off and accepted their soon-to-be son-in-law with open arms.
Fen disliked Nagi at first, seeing how much he liked to pull pranks and how little he actually washed himself. After months of odd exchanges with Nagi, Fen lost his edge and became more and more relaxed, not minding his pranks as much as he did back when they first met eachother. Even when they were dating (and later married), Fen still would frown and vocally disapprove of Nagi's lack of cleanliness. It would often ended up with Fen physically dragging Nagi into the bathtub with him.
A very small, yet excitable puppy followed Fenris one day when he was walking around campus after his class was over. He took pity of the poor thing and decided to take her home, immediately cleaning her and buying many dog foods and toys. He thought it was hillarious that Nagi was deathly afraid of a small thing like Zelda, but he felt sorry for his roommate and promised to train Zelda to not bother him. He felt both relieved and confused when he walked in on Zelda falling asleep on top of an equally dead asleep Nagi.
Fenris was shellshocked when Nagi brought a young girl with him to their home. He was in the brink of accusing Nagi of having an affair (with someone else, producing the girl or with the girl herself), but he calmed down when Nagi explained that he found the girl eating riceballs outside of a convenience store all alone. Fen would then build a bond with Bella when he found out that they shared many interests. He would ask the girl to come visit again whenever she felt lonely, and soon would grow fond of her presence, feeling like he had a second little sister.
