Hao

ZiHao is a 3rd year student enrolling in Denkouse High (Denkouko), a school that train future heroes and heroines to develop their potential powers to serve and protect citizen all over the world. His hero persona, BaoZi, is a melee, close-distance fighter; his weapon of choice being a single guandao. He is a hot-headed, relentless fighter that would give his all to be the very best.

Practically living with his grandmother all his life, ZiHao never really gotten close with his parents. The one thing he knew is that they were far too busy working that they couldn't possibly take a good care of him, so they decided to let his laolao who was living in the outskirts of the city alone to keep him indefinitely. His laolao accepted the young boy with open arms, coddling him and giving him all the love that he was always craving for. He came to the conclussion that his parents most probably had abandoned him after years and years of no letters nor messages for both of them. When he just 12 years old, his laolao suddenly told him that they both were going to live somewhere much nicer and far away from "those people". It would take a long while until ZiHao fully understood why his laolao suddenly decided that they would fled from their home country.

Learning Japanese was a breeze for the ever so studious ZiHao. They found a small house in a quiet neighborhood near the city and it took both of them no time at all to warm up to the locals. ZiHao was happy that he could play with friends his age as well as helping his laolao set up a small shop to fund his school. His parents would occassionally send them money via mail, but they usually barely covers his tuition fees. ZiHao learned to be hard-working and strong-willed to live comfortably everyday.

ZiHao's grandmother was heavily injured after a robber took her purse away after she went to the bank to get money sent by his parents. The young blond rushed to the hospital with his bike and stayed all night keeping his laolao company. His laolao forgave the criminal, stating that there are reasons why they would resort to criminal activity just to get the little money that ZiHao's parents sent. However, ZiHao never could shake away the guilt and anger from seeing his grandmother battered and bruised on the cold hospital bed alone. He swore on his life to get rid of the evil criminals so that there would be no other people who would get hurt by their crimes anymore.

ZiHao's years of hard work paid off when he got a letter of acceptance from Denkouko. He had saved all the hard-earned money he got from his paycheck bouncing from one part-time job to another. He was determined to be the very best student in the school, not wanting his and his laolao's pain and effort to go to waste. He would get exceptional grades as well as physical-test scores. In terms of academics, he get into friendly competitions with his best-friend-slash-classmate, Asahi since they always come up on 1st or 2nd place interchangeably eversince their first year at the school. On physical tests, however, he would get much more competitive with fellow student-hero Kosui, whom he always clash with to get the highest possible score. Every quarter year where the competition to determine the best student-hero in their school take part, he would always ended up in the final round with the katana-wielding boy.

On his second year of schooling, there was someone new who moved in next door. He was close with the two old couple, but he had no idea that their granddaughter was the famous child star Tsusui Shina. ZiHao was at first ecstatic to meet such a prominent figure in their humble town, but when it turned out that Shina was just a bratty, whiny child, he's grown to despise celebrities as a whole. He had no choice but to accompany Shina to get the town better since her grandparents were already very old and weak. Shina eventually warmed up to ZiHao, calling him Hao-nii and asking him to bike together to school almost every single day. Despite the rumours and whispers from fellow students, ZiHao saw Shina as a younger sister he never had.
