Brownie was a very scared individual in his early years, always fearful and reliant on his older sister's protection. His mom, Beth, and sister, Brooke, were always there to help him. His mom would even introduce him to things he would be passionate about to this day; such as playing the piano, singing, and even reading comic books. His father was no help unfortunately, and would often abuse him on an emotional level; this would lead to Beth getting a divorce and leaving that deadbeat of a dad.

For a while, it was just him, his sister, and his mother living on their own, but one trip to California would change that as his mother met a spunky older woman named Akira, and the two hit it off quite affectionately. This sudden romantic obsession would lead to Beth deciding to move in with Akira and formed a new family with them. Brownie was quite shocked by all these sudden new people coming into his life, but he would eventually adjust to it all and befriend the lot of them, even meeting his own true love at his new school. So no matter how wild Brownie's life can get, he can always rely on his friends and family to back him up.
