Andrius von Kilbard

    Andrius is a boy born of the Kilbard noble family in the Adrestian Empire. Due to the heightened fascination with crests and their importance in the Empire, Andrius’ paternal relatives thought it imperative to locate a rumoured group of dark physicians working within and around the capital. This was not difficult, given the Kilbard family’s proximity to the Emperor, serving him through means of political intelligence and espionage. Andrius was given to this group as an offering, and through a series of seemingly unsuccessful experiments, he was traumatised beyond what anyone could imagine. Unleashed in him was the dark magic used on him that now flowed through his veins, yet his body actively rejected what was now a part of itself: burning and scarring his body when released. In order to combat this, he uses a catalyst, has a pair of quite fashionable ballroom gloves, and was sent to the Officer's Academy in 1176 to attempt to control it.
