Overview
A teacher with little training or desire to be one. He was surprised by the offer for a teaching position. After all, Qingyue was an explorer by trade - He spent his time digging into long forgotten ruins, finding surprising and strange structures of a forgotten civilization. Not soon after publishing his first findings, he was whisked away to Garreg Mach to get support for his research. Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be much support for his research at the church... Every finding he publishes seems to disappear after a while, and he's had little opportunity to explore further with students to teach.
Qingyue originally came from Dagda, interested in the research of crests and the history of Fodlan. From an outsider's perspective, it's a very interesting land - technologically stagnant, kept strong by the miraculous crests that nobles use to protect their lands. He never expected to have the opportunity to meet with the future of the country personally, especially not from a teacher's position, and especially not at his young age. To be honest, he often feels inexperienced and too green for the job. It doesn't help that his students seem to be split between not caring for his teaching and actively talking back during lessons... He'd like to learn about how to be more authoritative from his peers, but he's a bit shy to ask. He hopes that the situation will resolve itself over time. Really, how hard can it be to teach?
