Willowtail is the deputy of WindClan. She is the daughter of Windwhisker and Skylight, and the sister of Jaystreak. She had a loving relationship with Icetail and gave birth to Thistlekit, Polarkit, and Graykit. Just moments after their birth, Icetail went crazy and killed Polarkit and Graykit before Jaystreak killed him. Willowtail was devastated at her losses and fiercely protective of Thistlekit. Blazinglight comforted and supported her through her grief, and he made her happy again. They became mates and raised Thistleheart together.
When Bloodfur brought Gingerkit and Duskkit to WindClan, Willowtail promised they would be safe there. She took them in as her own and raised them with she and Blazinglight's kits, Foggykit and Glowkit.
After Eaglefeather's death, Monarchstar made her the new deputy of WindClan. When Duskpaw went missing, she was determined to find him, even if it meant disobeying Monarchstar's orders.
Willowtail is a short furred light gray mackerel tabby she-cat with light blue eyes.
"A lot of our cats were killed. But we took a lot of theirs too and drove out those who survived. The Clans will not be defeated that easily."
Willowtail is a friendly, kind, and determined cat.

Jaystreak is Willowtail's brother. He is a good brother and cares very much for her. He brought her prey during her time in the nursery and killed Icetail after he killed two of her newborn kits.
Icetail was Willowtail's first mate. They were very close and loved spending time together. Willowtail was devastated when Icetail went mad and killed Graykit and Polarkit, resulting in his death as well. She understands this was out of his paws and remembers him for the kind and loving mate he was.
Blazinglight is Willowtail's mate. After Icetail's madness, he comforted Willowtail and helped her feel that Thistlekit was safe. They raised Thistlekit together. They soon became mates and had two kits of their own, Foggykit and Glowkit, and raised two foster kits with them, Gingerkit and Duskkit.
Thistleheart is Willowtail's son. He was the only surviving kit after Icetail went mad and killed Graykit and Polarkit, and Willowtail became fiercely protective of him. Over time Blazinglight eased her anxiety and raised Thistlekit with her.
Graykit is Willowtail's son. Willowtail only knew him for a few moments before Icetail went mad and killed him. She grieved deeply for him.
Polarkit is Willowtail's daughter. Willowtail only knew her for a few moments before Icetail went mad and killed her. She grieved deeply for her.
Foggylight is Willowtail and Blazinglight's son. She was very proud when he passed his assessment and became a warrior.
Glowpetal is Willowtail and Blazinglight's daughter. She was very proud when she passed her assessment and became a warrior.
Gingerfrost is Willowtail's foster son. After Bloodfur brought Gingerkit and Duskkit to WindClan, Willowtail promised they would be safe and decided to raise them as her own alongside Foggykit and Glowkit. Willowtail is one of the few cats who knows they are from ShadowClan and has kept it secret from her Clanmates. She proudly watched Gingerfrost grow into a skilled medicine cat. Despite knowing about Poisonedsap, Gingerfrost will always see Willowtail as his true mother, and Willowtail loves him as though he were her own.
Duskmoon is Willowtail's foster son. After Bloodfur brought Duskkit and Gingerkit to WindClan, Willowtail promised they would be safe and decided to raise them as her own alongside Foggykit and Glowkit. Willowtail is one of the few cats who knows they are from ShadowClan and has kept it secret from her Clanmates. She was very worried about Duskpaw when he went missing and insisted on searching for him despite the threat of Rosemary. She was willing to disobey Monarchstar's orders and continue searching for him. She was relieved when Gingerfrost told her StarClan had assured him Duskpaw was safe.

Kithood
Willowkit is born in WindClan to Windwhisker and Skylight alongside her brother, Jaykit.
Apprenticeship
Willowpaw is mentored by Cornwhisker during the time of Bone Shred's attacks on the Clans.
Young Warrior
Following Bone Shred's defeat, she earns her warrior name, Willowtail.
As a very young warrior, Willowtail becomes the mate of Icetail. They enjoy spending time together, and she soon moves into the nursery expecting his kits. The two of them look forward to the birth of the kits.
Icetail's Madness
Early in the morning, Willowtail gives birth to three kits. She names Polarkit and Thistlekit while Icetail names Graykit. Just moments later, Icetail goes mad and kills Graykit and Polarkit. Jaystreak attacks and kills Icetail before the white tom can kill Thistlekit, and Willowtail is shocked and devastated.
Following Icetail's madness, Willowtail is deeply shaken by her losses and fiercely protective of her single surviving kit, Thistlekit, paranoid she will lose him too. Silverberry and Starfaith do their best to help her, and during this time Blazinglight tries to comfort her. He gradually eases her anxiety and even stays in the nursery with her to help protect Thistlekit.
New Beginnings
Willowtail becomes happy again with Blazinglight's companionship, and together they raise Thistlekit, becoming mates soon after he's apprenticed.
Willowtail is guarding the camp when Mistybreeze warns her of Deserve's attack. Together the two of them prepare the WindClan cats, and when Castiel and a group of soldiers and Clan allies attack the camp, Willowtail fiercely battles the invaders.
After the soldiers are driven out, Willowtail is surprised when Bloodfur arrives with Gingerkit and Duskkit. He explains to her that their father asked him to take them to WindClan before he died, and hopes they'll take care of them. Willowtail promises the kits will be safe in WindClan.
Willowtail and Blazinglight take in Gingerkit and Duskkit and raise them alongside their biological kits, Foggykit and Glowkit. They are unsure if the kits will retain any memories of ShadowClan, but are prepared to address it to the Clan if the kits spoke up about it. Otherwise, they decide it would be best to raise the kits without any knowledge of their origins.
She is proud as the kits are apprenticed, and Gingerpaw begins training as a medicine cat.

Deputy
After Eaglefeather dies, Willowtail is surprised as she's selected as WindClan's new deputy. But she promises she'll do her best, and the Clan approves of her. After the vigil, she comforts Gingerpaw and helps him overcome his guilt about Eaglefeather's death. (Winds of Darkness, chapter 18)
Willowtail and Blazinglight worried terribly for Duskpaw when he went missing and insisted on searching for him despite the threat of Rosemary. Sure enough, they were attacked by Rosemary and her soldiers, and though Willowtail and Blazinglight only had scratches, Clovernose was killed and Sootheart badly wounded.
After the attack, Willowtail is proud as Foggylight and Glowpetal become warriors, but still anxious about Duskpaw. Monarchstar refuses to send another search party into danger, but Willowtail is willing to disobey orders, even risking her rank as deputy, to find him. When Gingerfrost reveals to her StarClan's reassurance of Duskpaw's safety, she is relieved.
After Rosemary's Defeat
Willowtail participates in the battle against Rosemary's Army, and after her defeat, she is relieved Duskpaw is home safely. She proudly watches as he is named a warrior in front of all the Clans: Duskmoon.
- Willowtail was the first OC I used on a Warriors roleplaying website in 2011. Having never roleplayed before, it was new and exciting. She was the deputy of ShadowClan. Unfortunately this website didn't stay active long. Later I continued roleplaying with her on Kugyay as a WindClan warrior. She became mates with someone else's OC named Icefur, and they had three kits: Thistlekit (Who I named and would roleplay), and Polarkit and Graykit (Named by Icefur's roleplayer). Strangely enough, the next day when I returned to the website, I was informed that Icefur went crazy and ATE THE KITS. You can imagine my surprise and confusion. I didn't want the kits to be gone, so I decided to just say Thistlekit survived, since he was my character. I didn't roleplay with Willowtail much after that, but I built on her story. She would be in grief and traumatized by the experience and very protective of her only kit, who lived on to become Thistleheart.
