Blazinglight is a warrior of WindClan. He is the son of Dreamwhisper and Sunripple, however he was raised believing Weaselnose is his father. Dreamwhisper was killed by Bone Shred's rogues when he and his siblings were kits, and from there they were fostered by their aunt Featherblaze.
He was mentored by Firetail and earned his warrior name. He was very happy for Starfaith as she pursued the path of a medicine cat. After Icetail's madness, Blazinglight comforted Willowtail through the loss and stayed in the nursery with her and Thistlekit. He and Willowtail became mates, and he raised Thistleheart as his own.
After the battle against Deserve's Army, Blazinglight fathered a litter of his own with Willowtail: Foggykit and Glowkit, and also adopted Gingerkit and Duskkit. He was a proud and loving father and was especially happy to see Gingerkit pursue the path of a medicine cat like his sister, Starfaith.
Blazinglight is a golden yellow tom with yellow eyes. He has thick sleek fur.

Blazinglight is very patient, kind, and understanding cat. He enjoys having fun and likes to see others happy.

Dreamwhisper is Blazinglight's mother. She had a secret relationship with Sunripple and hid this from the Clan and her kits, letting them believe the father was Weaselnose. She knew her Clanmates had to believe they were pure WindClan kits, though she wished she could tell the truth and let Sunripple be a part of their lives. Dreamwhisper was killed while protecting her kits from Bone Shred's rogues. She watches over her kits from StarClan and is very proud of them.
Sunripple is Blazinglight's father. He is a RiverClan warrior. Dreamwhisper loved him very much, but hid the truth about the father of her kits from her Clan. Sunripple loves his kits very much and wished he could have been a part of their lives. He watches over them from StarClan and is very proud of them. Blazinglight believes Weaselnose is his father and has no idea who Sunripple even is.
Weaselnose was close with Dreamwhisper, so WindClan believed he was the father of Dreamwhisper's kits., including him. He loved Blazingkit and his siblings and visited them often, especially after Dreamwhisper died. He was killed by Bone Shred's rogues before the kits were apprenticed. In StarClan, he learned the truth that he wasn't the father of the kits, yet continued to love and watch over them. Blazinglight still thinks he's his real father.
Featherblaze is Blazinglight's aunt. After Dreamwhisper died, Featherblaze fostered Blazingkit and his siblings in the nursery. She loved and cared for them as if they were her own, and was very proud when they were apprenticed.
Starfaith is Blazinglight's sister. Though he didn't quite understand her connection with StarClan, he encouraged her and was very happy and proud of her as she pursued the path of a medicine cat.
Petalflame is Blazinglight's sister. They were much closer than either of them was with Starfaith, as they enjoyed playing together and trained as warriors together while their sister trained as a medicine cat.
Willowtail is Blazinglight's mate. After her former mate, Icetail went mad and killed Polarkit and Graykit, Blazinglight comforted Willowtail through her grief. He stayed in the nursery with her and helped her care for Thistlekit. In time, he made her happy again, and they became mates, raising Thistlekit together.
Thistleheart is Blazinglight's foster son. He is the kit of Willowtail and Icetail, the lone survivor of his litter after Icetail went mad and killed his siblings. Blazinglight cared for him and played with him often in the nursery. He loves him very much, and Thistleheart feels the same, thinking of Blazinglight as his father despite them not being kin.
Foggylight is Blazinglight's son. He's very proud of him. He was very proud when he passed his assessment and became a warrior.
Glowpetal is Blazinglight's daughter. He's very proud of her. He was very proud when she passed her assessment and became a warrior.
Gingerfrost is Blazinglight's foster son. He and Willowtail decided to raise them as their own alongside Foggykit and Glowkit. Blazinglight was one of the few cats who knew they were from ShadowClan and kept it secret from his Clanmates. He was very proud as he became Dewstorm's apprentice, feeling he shared the skill, kindness, and patience that made Starfaith a great medicine cat.
When Mothshadow began mixing up herbs, Gingerfrost trusted Blazinglight with guarding the medicine den. Though Gingerfrost cares for his biological father Cougarfoot, he will always view Blazinglight as his true father.

Duskmoon is Blazinglight's foster son. He and Willowtail decided to raise them as their own alongside Foggykit and Glowkit. Blazinglight is one of the few cats who knows they are from ShadowClan and has kept it secret from his Clanmates. He was very worried about Duskpaw when he went missing and insisted on searching for him despite the threat of Rosemary.

Kithood
Blazingkit is born in WindClan to Dreamwhisper alongside his siblings, Starkit and Petalkit. He is raised believing his father is Weaselnose, when in reality Dreamwhisper has a secret relationship with Sunripple of RiverClan.
He and his siblings are very young when Bone Shred's rogues attack the WindClan camp. Dreamwhisper is killed defending her kits, and Blazingkit and his siblings are distraught at the loss. The kits are fostered by their aunt Featherblaze, and Weaselnose visits them often until he is killed in battle with the rogues.
Blazingkit and Petalkit enjoy playing together. He doesn't quite understand Starkit's fascination with StarClan, but is kind and respectful about it.
Apprenticeship
Blazingpaw is eager as he is apprenticed to Firetail. He enjoys his training and often talks to Petalpaw about what they learn. Though he misses seeing Starpaw, he's glad she's happy being a medicine cat and defends her passion for it when Petalpaw thinks it sounds boring.
Warrior
After completing his assessment, he is proud as he receives his warrior name, Blazinglight.
After Icetail's madness, Blazinglight comforts Willowtail in her state of shock, grief, and overprotectiveness of Thistlekit. He convinces her to eat more and even stays in the nursery to help protect Thistlekit. The two of them become very close, and Blazinglight becomes a foster father to Thistlekit. Shortly after Thistlepaw is apprenticed, Blazinglight and Willowtail become mates.
Blazinglight mourns the loss of his sister Starfaith, but is very kind in helping Dewstorm settle into WindClan. He participates in the battle against Deserve's Army.
Father
Willowtail gives birth to Blazinglight's kits: Foggykit and Glowkit. After the battle with Deserve's Army, They take in Gingerkit and Duskkit and raise them alongside their biological kits. They are unsure if the kits will retain any memories of ShadowClan, but are prepared to address it to the Clan if the kits spoke up about it. Otherwise, they decide it would be best to raise the kits without any knowledge of their origins.
Blazinglight is very proud when Gingerpaw becomes Dewstorm's apprentice, feeling he shares the qualities that made Starfaith a great medicine cat.
After Eaglefeather's death, Blazinglight was assigned to guard the medicine den at night to prevent any further herb mixups. He comforted Gingerpaw as he felt responsible for Eaglefeather's death, reminding him of his qualities and promising to keep the herb store safe.
He and Willowtail worried terribly for Duskpaw when he went missing and insisting on searching for him despite the threat of Rosemary. Sure enough, they were attacked by Rosemary and her soldiers, and though Blazinglight and Willowtail only had scratches, Clovernose was killed and Sootheart badly wounded.
Blazinglight mourned the loss of Dewstorm and spoke at his vigil, highlighting his commitment to Starfaith. He spent the afternoon sitting vigil with his body.
Blazinglight is incredibly proud as Foggylight and Glowpetal are named warriors, and in his excitement he abandons his post outside the medicine den to congratulate his kits, leaving the responsibility to Mothshadow. He is relieved when Gingerfrost says StarClan has told him Duskpaw is safe. Thankfully no cat is harmed due to Blazinglight's trust in Mothshadow.
He participated in the battle against Rosemary's Army and was proud as Duskmoon was named a warrior and praised for his role in defeating Rosemary.
- Blazinglight, Starfaith, and Petalflame were originally the kits of Sunripple and a cat named Honeyfrost.
- He was described as a golden yellow-orange tom with orange paws, striped back and tail tip, yellow ears, muzzle, chin, nose blaze, and throat. He had a fluffy tail and yellow-amber eyes.
- In the planning stages of Shadows of Blood, he would have been a warrior of SkyClan.
