Pulcher (Tricolor Hognose) (Chaco Trutnau)

Chaco is a Pulcher who spent most of her life believing she had the blood of the Corals in her veins, however, when she approached their high society family she was turned away. Wanting to belong to the Corals somehow she applied to become one of their hired helps around their large estate. Despite not being seen by most the Corals as part of their family she still does her best in her duties to live up to their name.

Chaco was found as a baby by a small village in the middle of nowhere. Based on her coloring the town thought she was a misplaced descendent of the Coral family and chose to raise her hoping that once she got old enough that she would claim her inheritance and their poor town would be showered with Sides and praise from the Coral family as a reward for taking care of and raising her.

The town would pitch in and get her basically anything she asked for and helped train her to become well-versed in many of the areas that the Corals were known for being particularly skilled in such as combat and high society communication. She did her best to live up to the town's expectations and although she was a bit spoiled, still understood that all the town's hopes and dreams were on her shoulders.

When the town felt like she was ready and old enough to prove herself they sent her on her way to the Corals estate. But as soon as they saw her upturned snout they turned her away as it was a sure sign that she was a hognose rather than a true Coral. Some of the family members tried to be understanding of her predicament and explain to her the problem, but most were angered that once again someone was trying to steal and trick their way into their fortune.

As she was not entitled to anything from them she returned back to her hometown empty-handed and with a deep feeling of pain for failing the one purpose for which she had been raised. However, the pain increased tenfold when the town learned about what had happened. All of them were devasted, distraught and livid. Some were upset because they believed she should have done more to convince the Corals of her birth right and the others were angry at her for supposedly deceiving them, although they had been the ones to fill her head with the idea that she was a Coral in the first place.

Unable to take all the hatred flowing from those that once called her family, she packed her things and left the town never looking back. At first, she was just trying to get as much distance in between her and the town not really caring where she went.  However as her Sides started to run out she found herself wondering what she could possibly do to get more.

Remembering that some of the Corals had shown her pity and not knowing where else to turn she made her way back to their estate. This time though she asked if she could be one of their hired help rather than claiming any sort of birth right.

But as her sides started to run out she new she needed to make a plan. Unsure where else to go she made her way back to the corals. However this time rather then being ignorant and demanding that she join their family, she was humble and simply asked to become one of their hired help. She was given a room to stay in for a few days as the corals discus what to do and test her skills for the tasks she was claiming she could do.

As she proved her worth she eventually was hired on as a grounds keeper and guard. She has never returned to her old home town and tries her best to simply forget about her life before working for the corals. She works her hardest every day and is one of their most reliable workers and is their first pick for one of the guards and servers during high society events.

1) if a player wishes to play Chaco as a PC (player character) then her call to adventure could consist of one of the Corals convincing her that she should try to figure out who she really is and not tieing herself to the Corals. This could consist of her adventuring for a bit as she tries out new things and maybe writing back to the Corals that she is close to and updating them on her progress.

2) Alternatively she could become fed up working for the Corals and wanting to become one herself convinces them to give her a challenge to prove herself. This challenge could consist of going on an adventure and coming back alive or getting a specific item.

If no call to adventure is heeded then she would likely spend the rest of her life as one of the hired help. However, she will fall in love with one of the Corals and have a secret relationship with them that they both keep quite.

Main outfit| her main outfit consists of a simple black maid's dress with a white apron. The apron ties in the back and has frills on the shoulders. Her dress also has two white cuffs and a frilly neckband. She wears a simple white maids cap with frills in the front and on the right side of the hat the Corals worker logo can be found. She also has a small group of black scales right below her right eye as a kind of beauty mark.
