• misc. fun facts:
  • he sheds sparkles! because magic!!! :3
  • has luxuriously soft wool
    • clippings of his wool are known to sell for $$$
      • for charity he once got completely shorn and his wool spun into yarn, which was then used to make several items that sold for big $$$
  • during winter he grows a thicker coat
    • pippets enjoy cuddling up to his wool for warmth :)
  • only enjoys sparkling water. will not drink normal water unless there's no sparkling water around
    • and if does need to drink normal water, he would want it infused/flavored
  • annoyingly picky eater
  • extroverted party guy
    
• former knight
  • enrolled into knight school because he didn't know what to do with his life at first and needed to do /something/ in order to be able to live
  • Solo was his classmate
    • often partnered up with her for situations in which a partner was needed
      • originally they got paired up randomly once by the teacher for an assignment, but then they both just kinda kept picking each other as a partner due to having an established working relationship and not wanting to deal with having to work with someone new unless they had to
        • tbh J.J. probs just kept partnering with Solo because he knew she was a hard worker who took charge of things and it allowed him to kinda slack off lol
        • and Solo at this point in time was more socially awkward/shy with meeting new people and so she kept wanting to work with someone she had worked with before
  • he'd often sing and hum while on duty as a knight and once during a karaoke outing with fellow knights someone (probably Solo) pointed out that he should pursue singing more seriously
    • he still worked as a knight while trying to start his musical career
      • it wouldn't be for a long time until he retired from knightly duties and was able to be a full time musician
• idol career
  • Lacroix quits being a knight to pursue a career as an idol singer and entertainer
  • has a public image as the haWT SEXY VOICE BAD BOY ™ WITH GLORIOUS WOOL WHO SPARKLES IN THE SUNLIGHT AND LOVES CUTE PIPPETS
    • he has a really good manager who knows how to market him and worked with Lacroix's brash insufferable, yet lovable jerk personality to create this image
      • everyone think he's just playing a heel-type character lol
    • Lacroix is actually pretty capable of being decent at times though
      • (though tbh his manager just scolds him a lot like a parent to a child and tells him to Be Nice)

• relationships
  • Solo - former classmate and friend
    • Solo had dropped out of knight academy to pursue magedom instead, which meant she ended up saying goodbye to J.J. as she moved away. the two basically never really met again until many years later, after J.J. had his idol career established and Solo became a potions maker
      • the two of them reconnected when J.J. was in the area while traveling for a concert and visited her shop
        • J.J. often buys her potions because to him, she makes the tastiest ones (but also because he gets the old friend discount lol)
        • he always makes sure to visit whenever he's around
  • Vargeaux - probably met a few times while J.J. was on tour and had a performance around Brouzet and Vargeaux being on guard duty at the time. Not really much interaction, but J.J. is afraid of Vargeaux because of his Vibes lol  
  • Yuki - thinks the guy is chill and trusts him simply because Solo does. not exactly friends, but not strangers either. has tried to party with Yuki and be bros with him, without much success
    • Yuki probs thinks of J.J. as annoying and loud lol. he doesn't hate the guy though.

  • Knife - J.J. met her once and was like "whose child is this???" only to discover she is not a child, she is just Small
    
  • ??? - manager. idk who it is yet but he's got a manager for his idol career. he's super dependent on them because he sucks at business things lol. super sweet to them and eternally grateful for their work. has gifted them a "#1 manager in the world" mug
