Info/Ideas:

• he is basically a dinosaur with a railgun lol
• the idea is that he has stormcaller affinity and uses himself as the power source for the railgun
  • the railgun itself has no power source, meaning it'd be unusable by anyone not capable of lightning magic
    • the lack of a power source also means the gun is lighter in weight and is designed purely around projectile firing and absorption of recoil/heat
    • he made the gun himself :)
  • lightning is channeled to gun via hands to shoot projectiles
  • the choice to use a railgun to shoot monsters is because:
    • projectiles can usually travel further than a raw lightning blast
    • more accurate and precise hits
    • against creatures hunted for consumption, bullets will kill the creature more cleanly and not leave them burnt to a crisp
    • fulgulisks can absorb lightning, thus rendering lightning magic useless
      • they cannot absorb a bullet to the head though :)
• he is a hunter whose job is to seek out and protect plumes from desert dangers and escort them to safety!
  • he works alone most of the time due to elyvians in this line of work being spread thin and there not being many in the job in the first place
    • experienced hunters are sent out solo so they can spread out and cover more ground in order to find more plumes
      • less experienced hunters may be paired with a veteran for a while before deemed capable of going solo
• his wings are a combo of a normal wing and a cloak wing
  • he wraps the cloak wing around his neck to get that scarf/cape look!
  • the color of the cloak wing changes occasionally, but is typically colorful
    • this is so Vargeaux can be more visible in the desert! especially in a sandstorm
      • the babbies need to be able to see him!!!
      • this also draws monsters' attentions
• personality wise, he's pretty serious and hardworking. think like strict military man
  • he's capable of kicking back and having fun though!
    • with his line of work, he definitely needs to goof off and lighten the mood sometimes so he doesn't go insane
  • tbh he's pretty overworked though and like constantly stressed from the various Elyvian Issues
  • he's pretty good with children
    • his job is to literally save babies in the desert and they basically become traveling companions as he escorts them back to safety
    • originally he was terrible with kids lol, but after doing this job for so long he just got better at communicating with them and being gentle
