PERSONALITY:

Yohana is a soft spoken, timid and shy person. She genuinely doesn't like to cause trouble for anyone, often trying to take on more than what she could actually handle to ease other's burdens. She likes being useful, but despite it being for others' sake at times, it also lies in proving to herself that she can handle more than what people really think she can do.

Hana does her best to be patient with other people, thinking all they need is someone who could be persistent enough to give them a chance. It clashes at times with her instinct to just shut up and not do anything if the other feels more violent, but she could also just... Sit there next to them or whatever until it's calmer. Maybe even do something nice for them while they decide if they'd rather give her a chance too or not.

HISTORY:

Yohana was born with her twin, Amirah, being of Philippine descent, but grown up in Canada. It was mostly a normal childhood, even if the family was finding that Yohana, despite looking identical to Amirah, seemed to be ever bit weaker compared to her twin. The parents weren't too concerned with the implications, just tried their best to accommodate for her by making Amirah do more things or help her with chores and what not, rather than leaving it all to Yohana.

It didn't help when similar occurrences were happening during their schooling. Amirah was doing more things, being the one good at sports, and people seemed to like her a lot. Yohana wanted to be more like them, but she was just... Too weak. Myra helped out here and there, but things led to another and it seemed they were being mistaken for each other. Hana didn't find it too bad- maybe some people would get disappointed learning they got the "lesser twin" afterwards, but it felt nice to be regarded as someone capable.

Amirah didn't like being treated as a weak person.

Whatever praises were mistakenly given, insults and what not were given the same way. Myra grew resentful and spiteful- a little at first, but it became more obvious to Hana as years passed by. They used to do some of the trends of "twinning" in outfits for fun, and now Amirah seemed to become desperate to become more distinct. Yohana didn't like it, but it was genuinely upsetting her twin and it was upsetting to see them feel that way, so just... She tried to accept it as is.

Years kept going by and Amirah moved out. It felt like it would be alright, but Yohana was finding her mood becoming horrible without their twin. At least while they were present, she could try doing things for them. Now, there was nothing and she didn't like how her parents still kept doing things for her. She was old enough to do things now. She didn't need this treatment...

Another year passed, Amirah had dropped mentions about Beacon over the holidays and Yohana got interested. A plan started to develop from there as Yohana did her best to explain and even argue a bit on her wanting to move. She did the research, started preparations, it will be all fine! She's an adult now herself, just like Amirah. She should be allowed...

Myra actually offered bringing her to Mirstone last holiday season. Hana was ecstatic. Finally, a chance to do more beyond this place! Amirah decided to tell her more stuff about the Beacon company, sounding like they were dissuading her from this decision, but she didn't care to change her mind now. Going to other worlds in a different body... Helping people, SAVING people! That sounded almost exactly what she wanted! She can learn to take care of herself in her own place, that's what she's been trying to do for her whole life!

Myra wasn't completely sure, but seemed amused with the attitude Yohana had about this and helped her out in getting to Mirstone to start working in Beacon. During this, she learned about the wish benefit to this line of work. To think that gods actually existed out there... And one is her twin's boss! Gosh, her twin has had an interesting time since leaving her... But that wish...

People wouldn't need to worry anymore if she could be as strong as Amirah, right?

That can do well as her wish...

She moved into a place she got in Mirstone, got introduced by Myra to the company, and she got a little tour around even. Finding the animal shelter, she wanted to work there as well. Beacon was for helping the other worlds, but she would want to do more in their own world as well! That makes sense, totally. It was all going to be fine.

She can handle this new life.

She'll show them.
