- John Roadkill Deergutt is Canvasville’s news anchor. He is extremely committed to his job and plays multiple roles in each news broadcast.
- He doesn’t know when to put down the camera, and often gets into trouble while reporting dangerous happenings. He loves juicy gossip and is always interested in hearing people’s controversial opinions.
- John Deergutt is lazy and carefree, but certain things he dislikes make him fly into a rage.
🎭 Personality
John Deergutt LOVES action, drama and gossip, just as long as it doesn’t involve him! He dislikes “fence-sitting” opinions and indecisive people - especially Mayor River Moon Willows.
On-camera, he is a sociable goofball. He likes to interview others to hear their thoughts, especially if it’s crowd-pleasing or controversial. Any attention is good attention in broadcasting!
Off-camera, John Deergutt likes to relax by himself. He often gets drunk while watching ToonTube videos and sports.

John Deergutt was born in Middelov Nowhere, USA in a isolated community. He grew up watching old movies with his Meemaw and Pawpaw. His love of movies inspired his interest in broadcasting and journalism.
John Deergutt moved to Canvasville in his adult years and became a well-liked news anchor and TV personality
