ℹ️ Basic Info

  • Cat Canada is a Junior Officer of the Jaycee Pawman Squad. She works alongside Jaycee and Wayne
  • Cat Canada is mostly motivated by her ego. She likes to be the center of attention when helping others. She leaps into dangerous situations and prefers to settle conflicts with her fists.
  • Cat Canada is a superhero with the power of flight and strength. She gets these powers from the Magnetic North Pole in northern Canada. She can also conjure powerful geysers of water by borrowing mythical powers from the Ogopogo. She is weak to magnets and electricity.
  • Cat Canada defends the city of Canvasville from any threat that necessitates superhero involvement. However, when Cat Canada isn’t around, a rival superhero team known as the “Recolour Rangers” takes her place. She greatly resents this team and considers them her rivals.
  • Prior to being a JPS Agent, Cat Canada once worked with a sidekick - a toon teacup named Katrina Tentious. The two constantly bickered and have split up and went their separate ways.
  • At this point, Cat Canada’s past and secret identity are unknown. She discovered her superpowers in her teen years. Her father is a retired superhero and she grew up closely bonded to him.

🎭 Personality

Cat Canada is very talented athletically because of her superpowers, and  has an ego to match. Cat Canada loves getting attention from her fans  and the media after saving the day. She leaps at any chance for  autographs, photos and social media clout.

Cat Canada never backs down from a challenge! She takes risks, and likes to punch first, ask questions later. She is always looking to prove her worth in front of others.

She has a difficult time regulating her emotions, and de-escalating the emotions of others. Her anger often comes out as physical violence against objects and other people.

She does not take criticism well. Underneath her ego is a lot of insecurity about being “good enough” for the people she cares about.

Cat Canada has Astraphobia - an intense fear of thunderstorms. She will shut herself in her room if there is one coming. She doesn’t want anyone to know about this crippling fear.

🧬 Biology

As a Tooniverse denizen, Cat Canada has the typical biology and  abilities of a superhero character. She uses her powers for practical  problem-solving instead of wacky goofs and gags.

Cat Canada has  both human-like and cat-like characteristics and mannerisms. For  example, she has good night vision and purrs like a cat, but bathes  herself like a human.

Cat Canada has the body of an athlete and  has above average strength and run speed, even without taking her powers  into account.

Cat Canada’s body is constantly magnetized due to  her magnetic North Pole power source. She never gets lost because her  body’s “internal compass” orients to magnetic north.

Cat Canada’s former sidekick Katrina had telekinetic powers. Because Cat Canada was around Katrina for long  periods of time, CC developed an increased resistance to psychic powers  and mind-reading. However, this is likely to fade after their long time  apart.

Cat Canada has the superpowers of strength, flight and creating water  geysers. She also has weaknesses that disable her super abilities.  Details below!

💪 Strength Powers:

  • She can use this to lift heavy objects or punch through material.
  • This power is sourced from the Magnetic North Pole. The more metallic an object is, the easier it is for her to exert force on it.
  • Cat Canada’s hands glow with a yellow aura when using this power. She can only channel super strength into her hands, nowhere else in her body.
  • Because this power is sourced from magnetic North, it becomes unreliable and erratic if she moves closer to the Earth’s equator, and vanishes completely in the Southern Hemisphere.

🪶 Flight Powers:

  • Cat Canada can levitate off the ground and fly at a fast speed.
  • She uses this power by changing her body’s polarity against the earth's natural magnetism. This repels her from the ground enough to fly into the air.
  • She is limited in how high and fast she can fly. The higher she flies, the weaker the magnetic force. She also flies slower at higher altitudes.
  • Because this power is sourced from magnetic North, it becomes unreliable and erratic if she moves closer to the Earth’s equator, and vanishes completely in the Southern Hemisphere.
  • Her cape assists her flight as it helps her catch the wind.

🌊 Water Geyser Powers:

  • Cat Canada can generate water from her hands. This water can come out as a light sprinkle from her finger tips, to a concentrated fire hose-level of water blast from her palms.
  • This is specifically fresh water from Okanagan River and Okanagan Lake, where the legendary Ogopogo dwells.
  • Cat Canada received this power from the Ogopogo. She is borrowing the Ogopogo’s magic to use it.
  • This power depends on Cat Canada’s bond with the Ogopogo - the Ogopogo can rescind this super power at any moment if it wants.

🧲 Magnet Weakness:

  • Cat Canada’s body is constantly magnetized from her power source. Disruption from other magnets will cause a disruption of any of her powers that rely on magnetic North. The bigger the magnet, the bigger the disruption!
  • Small magnets (like a fridge magnet) stick to her body. Her super powers become erratic and she experiences sickening vertigo-like symptoms. She is unable to keep her balance, and her vision is blurred. If the magnet is removed, she quickly returns to normal.
  • Large magnets instantly ensnare her in it’s pull and nullify her powers. She is unable to break free from the magnetic pull due to her super strength being nullified. Cat Canada needs a third party to release her. Her powers return to normal once she’s out of the magnet’s range.

⚡ Electricity Weakness:

  • Cat Canada is extremely sensitive to electric shocks, even small static shocks really hurt!
  • Due to her magnetized body, Cat Canada loses her powers if she gets zapped by electricity. These effects linger far after the electric shock happens.
  • Small shocks (like a static shock) disable her powers for a few hours or days.
  • Large shocks (like a taser) can leave her bedridden and disable her powers for weeks. Anything more powerful than a taser may kill her immediately.
  • Cat Canada wears rubber gloves and boots to protect herself against shocks.

🔍 History

Currently, Cat Canada’s history and secret identity is shrouded in mystery.

Cat Canada grew up as an normal kid. She discovered her super powers in her teen years while on a daddy-daughter Alaskan cruise trip. Her father is a retired super hero who taught her everything.

Prior to joining the Jaycee Pawman Squad, Cat Canada was once the full-time superhero protector of Canvasville. She was partnered with a tea cup sidekick named Katrina Tentious. Unfortunately, this partnership did not last long… CC and Katrina fought constantly on how to solve problems and ended their partnership.

At the insistence of her father, Cat Canada became a Junior Officer of the Jaycee Pawman Squad. She trained with Senior Officers Redward, Yelliot and Bluey to receive her badge.

Cat Canada is a Junior Officer who works with Jaycee Pawman and Wayne Gates to solve problems all over the world!
