Chase admires Holly for her bravery and skill at combat. Holly has probably saved his life at some point, and keeps Wesley from ripping off Chase when bartering. :3c

Backstory
Before the Outbreak, Chase was a timid, awkward nerd who struggled to socialize with others and preferred to stay chronically online. As a gangly, physically weak teen, he has survived thus far only due to the help of the others at the Academy. After a safe zone was established, Chase spent most of his time taking apart school electronics with the eventual goal of piecing together a working long distance communication device. His surprising talents as electronical engineer have somewhat redeemed him in the eyes of his peers despite his lack of physical ability.
He is accompanied by a small common anole named Trappy which he secretly kept as a pet of sorts in the dorms. Trappy enjoys basking atop Chase's head and shoulders.
Tech Whiz
Chase is always searching for useable electronic parts, and is wonderfully inventive with what he salvages, being able to construct useful gadgets and restore damaged ones to useability.
Total Focus
Chase is able to completely focus in on a task. When focused, it's extremely difficult to pry him away from the task until it's completion. In this state, he is able to ignore stressful situations around him and works as peacefully and steadily as though he were in a quiet room.
Insomniac
Long hours of gaming deep into the night has trained Chase to only need few hours of sleep every night. His waking hours are very productive when he's focused, and his lowered need of sleep makes him a natural night guard.
Hardly Hungry
When focused on a task, Chase is able to completely ignore hunger pangs. In general, he rarely feels true hunger, and gets by on minimal rations.
Since meeting Chase, Wesley always keeps a look out for small electronic devices to bring back for trade. Wesley knows that Chase is unable to go out and scavenge for these things himself, and always attempts to rip off Chase in an unfairly skewed barter. Despite this, the two have a sort of friendship built on the mutual interest of creating gadgetry.
