Laurent Néel

Laurent is the optimistic and welcoming owner of Le Bon Vivant, the bar Olivier and his friends are regulars of. Because of this, he is familiar with all the boys and is always here when they need a reliable adult to confide in.

When he is not listening to the half-drunken ramblings of a high schooler, one of Laurent’s main hobbies is to find new ways to bother Eugène, the local florist and his moral enemy (level-headed people would rather say “rival”).

As he was born and grew up in the small village of Beauvoir and only moved to Paris as an adult, he is very proud of his native region of Normandy. Laurent collects postcards from there and displays them on the walls of his bar, happily showing them off to customers. Cows, old castles, beaches – do you prefer pebbles or sand? –, Mont-Saint-Michel; he has everything you can think of, and would be overjoyed to help you plan your next holiday there.
