reagan is a snarky and playful young boy who moved to bonheur at age 5. the renowned burgoude family moved from their home in lynfair, france and quickly enrolled reagan in a bilingual immersion school called deux fois elementary despite him knowing very good english. later in the year, he met hattie-lynn at a bilingual event at the local community house. she took a liking to him and his attitude, hence why she introduced him to the rest of her friends, making him the last to join the friendgroup.

reagan is described as: playful, snarky, loyal, and stubborn.
while may seem instigating and cold, once he warms up, many notice he is much more vulnerable and loyal than he comes off as. reagan is quite hesitant to talk to others for many reasons, he's very insecure of his accent, and doesn't have great conversational skills and comes off as harsh. he often tells others he'd prefer to be alone, even though its a lie. reagans main traits aren't all negative; as mentioned before, he is very loyal and has a strong sense of work-ethic. reagan always gets done what he needs too, and secretly enjoys the company he meets on the way.
history
reagan was born is lynfair, france to a wealthy family consisting of his mother and father. the three moved to america is search of a well-rounding place to raise reagan, and settled on the quaint town of bonheur when he turned 5. he enrolled at duex fois elementary and continued prove his academic skill, but he always longed for something more, for he usually kept to himself.
in attempt to 'break him out of his shell' his parents attended at bilingual kids event at the local community house to give reagan a sense of understanding. there, he met hattie-lynn, who instantly took a liking to him, and who reagan couldn't shake off, even if he tried. the two even became close enough friends to the point hattie invited him to hang out with her newfounded friendgroup. reagan 'reluctantly' accepted, and joined the group on all of their crazy childhood adventures.
reagan ended up moving to bridgewood middle school with dean and annie, but this didn't last long. in his 8th grade he started discovering parts of himself and eventually his sexuality, and in 11th grade he decided to come out to his parents as gay. he hadn't known their opinion on the matter but quickly got the picture when he got kicked out. this was extremely hard, but one of his more irresponsible suggested that they run away to the coast. the two bought a shared apartment and lived off the grid from all his friends and family until he gained the courage to call his parents again. they supported this for him and let him stay. he considers these middle school and high school years to be his favorite, for he hadn't worried, or cared about many things since.
reagan is still living off the radar with his friend. instead of attending college, reagan works as a fisherman often at sea. when he is on land, he enjoys singing at bars and is a regular around the area. he often keeps in touch with elijah, after hearing that he too has moved to the coast. reagan is content with his simple life but often wishes he could go back to bonheur. he realized that he can't really leave his current situation, but longs for his childhood and the acceptance got. he wishes it would come and find him naturally by a turn of events, but he can only dream.

hattie and reagan met at a bilingual event at the local community house, and hattie instantly took a liking to him. the two are a opposing duo but only for comedical purposes; they often get in fake, dramatic fights for the sake of entertainment. hattie would say she admires reagan's attitude and wittiness, and reagan would say he admires hattie's dramatics and deduction.
reagan and annie met through hattie later on in the friendgroup. the two are an unlikely duo who are mostly seen sharing a comfortable silence. reagan would say he admires annie's comfort and problem-solving, and annie would say she admires reagan's resilience and truthfulness.
the two boys immediately became quick friends after being introduced at marguerite elementary's fair. their relationship often confuses others who don't witness them casually, and sometimes seems one-sided, but this is anything from the truth. the two love to make eachother laugh, even when reagan's not always in the mood too; essentially meaning they lift eachother up. reagan would say he admires dean's kindness and determination, and dean would say he admires reagan's neatness and attitude.
