DIET: Hattie has an average diet and eats what her parents and doctors recommend. However, when not insight of adults, she has a habit to eat lots of candy and junk food.

EXERCISE: Hattie is extremely active despite her restrictions. She does gymnastics and is often seen running from place to place. She enjoys games like most kids her age and loves carrying heavy things to show off her strength.

SLEEP: Hattie has trouble falling asleep and takes melatonin before bed.

HYGIENE: Hattie doesn’t mind getting dirty, and she is not held back by the idea of messing up her clothes. Because of her recklessness, she showers on the regular. Apart from that, she has average hygiene for someone her age.

ADDICTION: Hattie has no addictions.

HISTORY OF PHYSICAL ILLNESS

Hattie has a weak and complex immune system. She is sensitive to polluted air and certain things that surround her daily, such as germs. Hattie is very prone to sickness, common colds in a school classroom can lead to hospital visits at times. But, playing outside, swimming, and doing gymnastics in the gym have proven to be healthy and safe distractions.

SCARS: Hattie has a awkwardly shaped scar on her knee from falling of her bike.

ALLERGY: Hattie is allergic to certain types of medicine.

INTOLERANCE: Hattie is lactose intolerant, like most cats.

STRENGTHS

Hattie is a natural leader. People often enjoy listening to her ideas, and Hattie herself enjoys we others look up to her. She is loud and able to capture peoples attention, and she is very upfront when stating her opinion; no matter what.

Hattie is very smart for her age. While her interests don’t align with her school’s curriculum, she has shown to be quite useful outdoors on adventures, and even navigating through the early internet. She is an average A and B student and often picks up information quickly. Her favorite class is French and English, or mostly anything that involves languages or countries.

WEAKNESSES

Hattie has pretty bad anger issues. She lashes out at times of stress, and when distracted, dazed, or tired, she becomes very irritable.

Hattie has no filter. She often struggles reading a room, and says very out of context things that would be considered offensive. She is given grace because of a small language barrier, but this has caused problems even as an adult too.

FLAWS

Hattie often can’t realize her voice level. She doesn’t understand social cues well.

Similarly, she has a habit of oversharing and embarrassing herself.

HABITS

Hattie has a habit of excessively playing with her hair, even pulling it out when she’s nervous.

Hattie has a habit of forgetting things, such as stuff she’s said or done in the past, even schoolwork.

Hattie hates slow-walkers and won’t hesitate to shove them aside.

PHILOSOPHY

Hattie loves life and lives on the edge, like most kids. She does whatever she fancies, and if it doesn’t work out, it’s a learning experience. Hattie is all about learning for herself, strictly independent, until others need her. Hattie is extremely people oriented and with do whatever is for the greater good, she can’t stand to see anybody upset or unheard. She is a STRICT follower of the golden rule.

ETHICS

Hattie has better ethics than most but some could be questionable depending on the situation. The best example of her ethics is if she found $100 on the ground. Firstly, she’d search for the owner without any hesitation, but if the owner was never found, she’d keep it. Nothing for personal gains, she’d probably save it until she found something to do with it. If the owner came along later, she wouldn’t give it up. She is very stubborn and utilizes the finder’s keepers rule.

HISTORY OF MENTAL ILLNESS

Hattie isn’t mentally ill. She does have ADHD, but she’s learned to ignore it.

TRIGGERS: Hattie has no specific, serious triggers. She dislikes yelling and such, but nothing can send her crying just from hearing it. Expect one thing, if you tell her the sun will explode in 30 billion years, she will cry.

PHOBIAS: Hattie has mostly irrational fears. She often forgets her serious fears until face to face with them. Her biggest fear would definitely be crocodiles.

DEFENSE MECHANISM: Hattie’s best defense is always confrontational. If that doesn’t work, she just ignores the problem until she can confront it again.

THREAT-BASED MINDSET: As tough as she acts, Hattie is flight over fight. She only feels ready to deal with problems she knows she will succeed in. Maybe once she thinks it over, she may fight. She doesn’t like to fight because she always feels like she’ll do something stupid, like throw things or yell.

BIRTHPLACE: Hattie was born in Yūgure, an up-and-coming city along the east-coast of Japan. It’s littered with ponds and tall grass, inconsistent weather patterns and lots of fishing piers. As quaint and comfortable as it seems, the population is huge, and the air pollution is awful uptown.

ENVIRONMENT: Hattie was raised middle-class, but her family is relatively wealthy. They can often afford Hattie’s needs and some things she wants wants for pleasure, but they save lots of their money for their family’s future.

OVERALL HISTORY

CHILDHOOD: Hattie was raised in a family of 4 with her mother and father, Kenshin and Chiyo Mochizuki, and her baby brother, Makoto, who is often called Matt. She also has 2 pets, an albino rat named Theo, and a blue parakeet named Jazz. Hattie's family is relatively wealthy, and in the January of 2006 they moved to Bonheur, Lousiana for Hattie's Health. Hattie goes to a very pristine private school that she very much dislikes; so since meeting her, every moment outside of school, Hattie goes on spontaneous adventures with Annabelle Scotts.

ADOLESCENCE: When Hattie turned 12 in 2011, Her parents announced to her and her now 7 year old brother that they would be moving back to Japan due to Hattie's good health and her father's job. Hattie was devastated, and for the rest of the year fell into slight depression. After moving back to Japan, Hattie would send letters to Annabelle, but felt no better, as she othen regrets leaving and is constantly thinking of her. Hattie returned to her school and was welcomed by many of her peers. She also became good friends with a old acquaintance of hers, Fusae. Fusae was a very bad influence on Hattie, and peer-pressured her into joining the "Popular Clique" at school. They would often pick on kids like Annabelle, and anyone who they saw fit. They would also steal and use boys. Hattie hated this, yet put up with it for years contracting more and more guilt. She finally snapped her freshman year in highschool and left them for a bigger more accepting friend-group, and began wearing Gyaru fashion.

ADULTHOOD: Hattie is now 20 and living with her boyfriend in a Tokyo apartment. She is working at a popular bar at night and attends college classes during the day. Hattie's parents bought her apartment, and loaned her money after graduation. Since then, Hattie has been saving up to buy a plane ticket to Lousiana in hopes to see Annie, who she still has been thinking of for all these years since she moved away. Hattie achieved her goal and landed in Louisiana with Bo. She quickly took a taxi to Annie's childhood house, not even thinking to visit her own, and after a quick reunion asked Mrs. Scotts Annie's current location. Upon arriving, the two girls shared a long reunion, and Hattie ended up staying in Lousiana for a month in a hotel. When it was time to go, the two girls swore to keep in touch, which they have been doing ever since.

BEST MEMORY: Hattie would say her best memory is her brother being born, because it was also her first memory and the most vivid she can remember. While that’s her go-to answer, if she had time to think, it’d be any memory she’s made in Bonheur.

WORST MEMORY: Hattie blocks out bad memories, but she’d say anything that involved her getting hurt physically.

SHORT-TERM GOALS: Hattie’s short-term goal is to skip 3 poles on the monkey-bars and learn how to do and aerial cartwheel.

LONG-TERM GOALS: Hattie’s long-term goal is to improve her health.

INTERNAL CONFLICT: Hattie often deals with jumbled and impulsive thoughts that make it hard for her to focus.

EXTERNAL CONFLICT: Hattie wants to make her mom proud of her piano skills.

CURRENT CONCERN: Hattie’s current concern is to have one memorable thing happen each day.

VERBAL

ACCENT: Hattie has a STRONG Japanese accent. While her and her brother’s English is still better than their parents, it is lacking on verb conjugations and writing, ESPECIALLY L and R sounds. Hattie can definitely speak English, but she only becomes fluent in Middle School.

VERBAL TIC: When Hattie doesn’t know how to express certain feelings or verbs, she uses Onomatopoeias, ranging from English and Japanese. (Examples: In English, Boom; and in Japanese, Dokkaan.)

CATCHPHRASE: Hattie does not have any catchphrases.

SPOKEN LANGUAGE: Hattie’s spoken language is Japanese.

ARTICULATION: When speaking Japanese, Hattie talks very fast; and when she speaks English, she talks exceptionally slower. She does pick up her speed if she definitely knows what she is talking about.

BREATHING PATTERN: Hattie has an average breathing pattern, but it changes depending on where she is a lot. For example, it would worsen in a big city.

ATTITUDE

TOWARDS STRANGER: Hattie is very uncontrollable and loud around strangers, she is not afraid to make small talk with people she’s never met.

TOWARDS ACQUAINTANCE: Hattie is very kind and helpful towards her acquaintances, still she doesn’t hold back her energetic personality.

TOWARDS FRIENDS: Hattie is very eccentric and loving towards her friends. She loves them more than anything.

TOWARDS FAMILY: Hattie acts independent and rebellious infront of her family, but deep-down she is always attentive, caring and loving.

TOWARDS LOVERS: Hattie completely shuts down infront of her crushes and always finds a way to embarrass herself. She becomes very readable and giddy.
