Design Notes

  • Holds a very similar physical resemblance to his Prodigal counterpart Grandfather. However, he does not have any moles and no scars on his body.
  • Noticeable glowing red eyes and silver hair.
  • Very tall (7'0")
  • Always wears his armor.
  • Holds a claymore/broadsword one handed. The blade is about as long as his own body.
Personality

Perhaps being alive for centuries turned the Conqueror into a man without a care for human morality and is rather heartless to any mortal he comes across. He merely deploys his own beliefs and systems during his adventures - especially disregarding those he works under for his own benefits unless personal reason had abided him to think otherwise. Regardless of who he is, he is often bold, confident, and quite the charmer to anyone he accompanies throughout his years of remaining alive.
If they are not a friend, it isn’t a surprise for the Conqueror to treat them harshly. Let alone, remaining alive with him at their side is just a matter of luck. He constantly searches for anything with personal gain, especially fighting a formidable opponent - something or someone that is worth his time fighting against. The Conqueror is striven to find someone of equal strength. And people possibly believe Cervantes has been wandering around for centuries seeking for a peaceful and proper death, and atonement for his own corruption. Aside from being a gallant and obtusely powerful warrior, The Conqueror is a cryptic strategist with a sardonic wit. He prides unmatched strength and superior intellect, thinking that humanity is inferior to his reborn state.

Surprisingly (even when he cares little for mortals), he has a strong disdain for poorly run cities and most especially corrupted power among the cities he ventures by. Through his only judgement of what he considers chaotic and corrupt - he simply fixes this by single-handedly obliterating their ruler and (sometimes) all of its residing citizens.

The Conqueror holds an affinity to anything revolving the Kingdom that he was born in centuries ago. In fact, Cathal was considered the daughter city of his original home of Athan - both kingdoms ruled and progressed the same way. Perhaps it is the similar gems that holds their kingdoms together, but the Conqueror holds an attraction to anyone that is part of the direct bloodline to the Royal Family of Cathal. Many of them are wary of the Conqueror’s presence and quite hostile towards him, but Cervantes finds himself hesitant on raising a blade towards anyone part of the bloodline.
Trivia

  • Titled as such, he is a one-man army that is capable of conquering kingdoms and cities; he is known for his typical destruction and unpredictable judgement.
  • The crystal of Athan residing inside of him causes him to remove any wounds on his body; he heals very quickly.
  • You can find the Conqueror in every tavern possible.
    > Drinks excessively but rarely ever intoxicated.
    > Always down for a challenge or a tavern brawl - he won't stop until he wins.
    > Likes to play card games.
  • Will take on many jobs; as long as the adventure is worth his amusement.
    > Doesn't necessarily care how much money they offer. He usually spends most of it on gambling or charity.
  • Rarely cares about mortal importance
History | The Story

History

Athan was a royal city of red that has ruled for ages, let alone no one seemed to rival their brilliance. An age of prosper unfortunately led to the death of one of their King, leaving behind his wondrous Queen and two twins that both inherited the throne together. The Kingdom’s general took this opportunity to court the Queen, bringing in a third child into the royal bloodline. Yet instead of making newborn Cervantes into an upright heir - his father wanted him to take over his position as the new General. Cervantes was a brilliant fighter ever since and remained utmost loyal to his family and Kingdom. He fought battles for the sake of his home as it remained prosperous under his protection all while his older brothers continued to take over the political side of the ruling.

The Kingdom was at its finest; until the godly jewel that powered their city eventually had shattered. Everyone that remained in the city instantly turned to stone - with the exception of Cervantes - who found himself confused and broken at the situation. Cervantes spent half of his life alone trying to figure out how to bring back his homeland free from stone. Most of his research and adventures left him nowhere and every time he came back to his home - he finds himself fending off wanderers that continued to break and demolish his people by breaking the statue-like figures completely frozen in place.
One day he discovered a remnant of the jewel that had powered his whole city, and he merely used this remnant to remain alive until he could find a solution to save his home. Yet even then many of the solutions remained unanswered and Cervantes found himself running in circles until he decided that perhaps the will of their gods decided that their rule was finally over.

The Story Now

After that Cervantes finds himself as a ruthless wanderer, finding a kingdom that was worthy of his protection. Yet several cities and kingdoms have been obliterated along the way and many were very fearful of his power and many never gave him a warm welcome. Years later, Cervantes was renowned as the Conqueror - a man who can take over cities as a single man.

Elabelle | Friend, Protector

Everyone who is related to her is very cautious around the Conqueror's presence. However, they're only somewhat appreciative that she's safe in the hands of the Conqueror. Yet even if she is to be wed to another Royal bloodline, he cannot help but have his feelings swayed with her around him.

King Vadim | Rival

Vadim isn't afraid of him, but sure as hell doesn't want the Conqueror anywhere near the throne. Everyone else knows quite well that the Conqueror has no thoughts of ever destroying Cathal, but Victus thinks differently. Plus, he very much hates the fact that Cervantes has tries to court him in the past.

En | Companion

Cervantes has watched En for a while, outside of the Cathal kingdom. Pity for the young prince, and how often he spends time with Royal family - he accompanies En throughout his journey after his exile. And of course, him being part of the Royal bloodline, he cannot help but court the young man.

Roy | Rival

The Conqueror has nothing to do with Roy, but the matter of fact that he's jealous that Elabelle is to marry him. He'll tease him whenever Cervantes gets the opportunity, but his promise to the Princess doesn't allow him to hurt him at all.
