First  appearance: Volume 1: Prologue page 7 , chapter 2 of book 1.

Family: Umber- wife. They are deeply in love, and both are generals in the army, often working together.
Ivory- eldest daughter. He is very proud of her, and loves her dearly.
Tsunami- middle daughter. She disappeared a few years ago, and he is scared of what might've happened to her. He and Umber have found no leads as to where she is.
Autumn- youngest daughter. She is the light of his life. She is mostly nonverbal, and spends most of her time at home, but he always makes sure she is content and spoils her.

Miscellaneous: he serves as the current ruler's personal guard but usually acts as general to the army, also uses a metal sword, likes to wear mascara

Backstory: He migrated up north centuries ago at around age 30. He soon joined the army, where he met Umber. They soon formed a bond, and decades later married. They were recognized for their skill and great ability to work together, so they were promoted, and eventually both became generals. Because in those times it was peaceful, they served as guards to Audubon's (capital city) castle, serving under their queen. They helped raise Vermillion, who'd become king later, and then Vermillion's children as well. All while raising their own children as well.

Notes: Sometimes wears makeup. He is a southern avian, and southern avians' ears move with emotion.
