STORY-RELEVANT FACTS

• As a prop maker for a theatre, she's pretty familiar with making things like fake guns, miniature buildings, models for stop motion and even some advanced hand puppets(think like these). She likes to apply some of that knowledge into making her mech suits, mainly to the smaller ones. Anything taller than Finn is controlled through a panel instead.
• Trinket, Myrrh and Flipper live in her crib. They’re the only pokémon allowed on her side of the bunker because she wouldn't be able to have access to free luxury goods without their trucking business. She does actually like having them around, but only Trinket considers her a friend.
• She's alot better at building mech suits then robots, infact, it was only a couple years ago that she decided to dive into robotics. Generally, she struggles making stuff that can move completely on its own.
• She’s pretty skilful when it comes to using a knife, mainly of the pocket kind and as a melee weapon. She is, however, terrible at throwing them, do not volunteer as an assistant if she ever becomes an impalement artist, her precision is shit and you will die.
• Corviknights aren’t a common pokémon species in Nullax so she had to get creative with her materials. Luckily, when exploring the military bunker, she founded large clumps of metal behind some broken walls and so primarily relies on that.

ABILITIES/BIOLOGY

• She's physically weaker then the average tinkaton, needing her mech suit, Finn, to preform an actual gigaton hammer. Finn’s hammer is basicially a cooler-looking tinkaton hammer, it’s stored away in a wall in her workshop somewhere... I don't know, you find it.
• Despite her somewhat pudgy build, she's pretty fast and nimble. There are many times where her swiftness has caused her to crash into things, since her brain is not always on the same page as her body.
• Her fur and hair is smooth yet greasy as hell. Because of that, she can slip any from the grasp of the strongest humans and, even, from some strong pokémon with ease.
• She has a weird habit of making a guttural hissing sound whether she’s mad at someone, or something. It somewhat sounds like if a cat could hiss underwater.

FUN FACTS

• Only a few minute walk away from her house is an old observatory. It’s rumoured that beeheeyems use to live in it and even built the thing. She had to fix some parts of the telescope and replace its lens before it could actually be used again. Trinket and Flipper are the main ones that go in the observatory to use the telescope as Tobi doesn’t care about astronomy that much.
• She can be a gourmand, especially, when it comes to eggs and pokepuffs. Despite being able to cook for herself, and being pretty good at it, she’ll usually just take food from the other pokémon that live with her. Only Flipper has gotten her to back off from snatching his meals since he can actually knock her out. Trinket will gladly let her take her food.
• She has a lot of cousins, seven to be exact. She has a decent, not close, relationship with all but one of them, she finds that one to be very annoying and overly emotional
• There's a 50/50 chance that a weapon from her bunker is an actual weapon and not a replica she made for the threatre she works at.
• Sometimes, she’ll sing or hum to herself when building a mech suit or repairing something in her house.
• She has a habit of mocking people through mimicking either their speech or what they just said. She's, like, a five-year old I guess.
• She watches and is inspired by a lot of mecha cartoons, it’s mainly the gundam stuff that gives her ideas for new mechs. She's also a huge fan of the kaiju genre and it's the current inspiration for her most recent project.
• Normally, she wouldn’t hesitate to knock out anyone who even thinks of going near her, so you'll if know if she feels trusts someone if she just lets them get all up in her personal space.

CHILDHOOD

Tobi was born in a humble pokemon village in northwest Nullax. She grew up with her mother and father(who was a ditto that took the form of a tinkaton) as an only-child. She did live near her massive extended family so she had her cousins to hang out with regularly. While not the weakest, Tobi was always seen as unremarkable by her family. She did just as well as her cousins and had nothing unique about her that made her stand out among them. What didn’t help was that she never really had an interest in building hammers, she would make one and, because metal-eating pokemon were rare in Nullax, was able to increase its size with no issue, but, after a day, she'd discard out of boredom.

That all changed when her father suddenly bought a TV into their home and fixed it up so that it could be usable. At first, she didn't care for it that much. She got bored of what was on the TV since her parents would always watch what she saw as 'boring' and would just play outside with her cousins. That was until, one time, her father was out at work and her mum finally let her pick what to watch on the television. While flicking through the channels, she found a mecha anime that caught her eye. She thought about how it reminded her of the process of building hammers, and how it looked so much cooler. It gave her an idea for something. The next day, she built a little robot using scrap metal. She woke up her entire family early in the morning to show it off. They were impressed at first, one of her aunties even patted her on the back for her little creation. However, a day passed and no-one even remembered she made such an interesting thing.
