Silas is quiet, gentle and unassuming. He would much rather observe somebody than start a conversation with them. He looks after his little sister, Seraphina, and they travel together.
A rather quiet person, Silas is nervous and a tad broody to those who don't know him well.

Character

- Because of its texture, Silas' hair does not need to be brushed very often. It's naturally wavy, and grows very fast. When brushed after being recently washed, it gets very fluffy!
- Silas has an irrational fear of small animals, particularly mice. He associates them with a really bad feeling, and will do his best to avoid them. He makes an exception for Seraphina's bird Hetakiel, and the Hummingfly Mosha who helps him with his flowers.
- Silas constantly gets smacked in the face with doors. Nobody knows why, but doors are attracted to his face. He should fear them, but he just never learns.
- Because of his lifestyle, as well as the fact that he has an insanely fast metabolism, Silas literally cannot gain weight. He always looks thin, bordering on sickly, and has little to no muscle with which to fight or exert himself physically.

Seraphina Servelion
Younger Sister
Seraphina is Silas' younger sister. They've travelled together since early adulthood, and Silas swears he would do anything to keep her safe. Granted that she's the only one who's ever really believed in him his entire life, Silas holds her in very high regard and takes her opinion very seriously. Like any siblings, Silas and Seraphina argue and fight constantly, but they also find common ground very easily.

Originally, Silas didn't hold any high opinion of Evinrude, but the boy turned out to be more resourceful than he'd realized, and Silas has grown to like their company. Silas will still treat Evinrude like a child more often than he realizes, and their debates occasionally turn into fights that Silas doesn't realize he's started.

Shechem Kalvasii

Silas would rather die than be in the same room as Shechem Kalvasii. There's few people who make Silas lose his temper so easily - and it doesn't help that Silas loses part of his horn in a fight with Shechem, and the latter is nearly twice his size in Amphathere form. The reason for his rocky relationship with Shechem is deeply personal and the spot of a lot of confusion for Shechem and Ashkelon.
Ashkelon Kalvasii
Enemy
For the first part of his life, Silas didn't even know Ashkelon existed, but now that the latter's presence has been revealed, Silas treats them no better than he does their sibling Shechem. He would rather have never met either of them.
Avis Namir
Childhood Friend
Having known Avis since childhood doesn't necessarily mean the two are the bestest of friends - far from it, actually. Silas feels distinctly uncomfortable around Avis, and the feeling is mutual. Since Avis was around during the dark days of Silas' past, he can't help but feel like Avis is an annoying reminder of those times.
