It should be noted that in Japan it is very illegal for anyone who has not graduated high school to be enrolled in a flight school. Thus, calling Tsukino Chisaki a "flight student" might not be entirely accurate, as she has yet to be actually enrolled. In fact, if anyone asks, she has never flown a plane before. Yes, it's been her lifelong aspiration to fly. No, she absolutely totally has not ever touched a plane's controls in her life, even though her brother owns a small aircraft and has access to a field where he could, hypothetically, in theory, teach her to fly an airplane. Tsukino, you're very lucky that the forces behind this killing game hold no interest in enforcing the law.

There are a lot of ways to describe Tsukino, and the most succinct is “dumbass lesbian.” Tsukino is loud, excitable, and especially enamored with the idea of punk ideology and sticking it to the man - but she’s also, bless her heart, a little bit of an overzealous teenager who doesn’t actually know what about punkness constitutes coolness or heroism. She would very much love to be the knight in shining armor that everyone looks up to! She just also jumps to rash conclusions and takes it upon herself to make bad decisions in the interest of doing the right thing. That said, her heart is in the right place, even if it’s somewhat aimless. Also, she likes girls! A lot. Which you will learn very quickly upon meeting her.
