Personality

Alli tends to be gentle and caring towards others, acting a bit more motherly towards them. While she does enjoy pokemon battles herself, she doesn't like fights among her teammates, and tends to be the one to break up fights the most. She can get in between two fighting, though sometimes it will cause them to turn on her.

Alli can be very overprotective of the group, and is very stubborn about this fact. She will put herself in danger if it means keeping the group safe. Even if that isn't what someone wants. She can also occasionally talk over someone, thinking she knows better for them even if she doesn't always.

Relationships

Maple

Alli cares for Maple a lot, and was fascinated by her desire to fight as a trainer. Alli does worry a lot about Maple though, and feels like she needs to keep an eye on her

Ace

Alli sometimes feel like she oversteps Ace's authority since he was on the team before her, though he doesn't seem to mind that much. She does care for him, but sometimes feel likes he doesn't really want to be worried about or fussed over.

Cabbage

[Friend]

Alli worries about Cabbage probably a little too much. Since he's the youngest on the team, she sees his nature of recklessness being dangerous, as much as he insists he's just as strong as the others. Still she does what she can to protect him. And even after he evolved, she still struggles to admit to letting him do it himself was okay, as she just worries about him.

Sean

Alli seems to be the only one who really cares about Sean much on the team. And similarly, Alli is the only one Sean isn't rude or sassy to. Alli isn't sure what she did to deserve the treatment, but she is under the impression that Sean just needed some gentleness and kindness.

Mitzi

[Friend?]

Alli doesn't care for the way Mitzi goes about things. Tending to let others take over and do their own thing at times. And the two can butt heads about their ways of doing things for the group sometimes. With a bit of a rivalry seeming to form between them.

Charcoal

Alli admires Charcoal a little, just from her being older. Alli sees her as wise and full of advice, even if Charcoal is a little off put by that, thinking she's no wiser than any of the other members of the team.

STORY

(Spoilers Ahead!)

Backstory

Alli used to be a part of a flock of Taillow that lived on Route 104 for quite some time, but Alli wasn't interested in always staying a part of that. She was always quite fascinated with humans and how trainers would train pokemon on journeys.

From observing the trainers, Alli decided she wanted to join a trainer on their journey, deciding that it would give her a better life than fighting for berries on the same bush for the rest of her life. Now the issue was not being able to talk to trainers...

During the Comic

That is until a talking Mudkip came to the route passing through. Maple was on her way to Rustboro when she came across Alli. Maple and Ace with her were curious why she wasn't with the other taillow, and when Alli told them about her dream, they offered to let her join, and she took them up on the offer.

During the course of the journey, Alli quickly took on the role of the more adult of the group, from being the oldest. The others of the team seemed to accept this, even prickly little Sean, who seemed to take a bit more of an attachment to her, and they became close friends.

After three gym badges, Alli's worry and protectiveness of the group seemed to grow. And she started getting more anxious, jumping herself into battles more to keep them safe. And seemingly not listening to warnings from others that this'll end up getting her hurt. And now she's even more sure that she's right, after evolving to save and protect Sean from a machoke and some machop. Unfortunately, since she didn't heed the warnings from Mitzi, she has sadly fallen to a lava plume, wanting to protect the others by herself.
