Polaris Lox is the brilliant star of the Fifth Fleet. With a hunting career fresher than most of her peers, she is the embodiment of raw talent. Though she may be stunningly beautiful and among the best hunters of the Fifth, she has developed quite the attitude about it.

Appearance

Polaris is a tall and fit woman who's well aware of her beauty. She has voluminous and endlessly curly hair the color of starlight, which she often wears up for convenience. She inherits her father's heterochromia, with her right eye being a deep red and her left a rich blue. She has a long elegant face with equally charming features. Her scar, sharp eyes, and thin arching eyebrows all contribute to her intimidating appearance she's known for. Though depending on who you ask, her full lips are her most attractive feature.

Not only does she sport an alluring face, she was also blessed with a captivating figure. Shaped more like a pear, she has a sizable chest paired with an unbelievably sized keister, which needless to say draws eyes. Her arms and legs are subtly laced with muscle, which don't do a good job of describing how strong she actually is.

Personality

Polaris knows what she's got, and she takes great pleasure in flaunting it. She loves to tease, she loves to flirt, but she also likes to put people in their place. She doesn't like to be shown up on any aspect, cause she's the boss in her world. This tends to make her incredibly stubborn, and can also make her get pretty mean on occasion. She does her best not to act like a jerk, as she really doesn't intend for that, but it just happens sometimes.

While Polaris can be a little self-centered or condescending, she's tries her hardest to always better herself and better others if she can. She does give some pretty good advice when asked, even if she might not follow it herself. Deep down, she's a little lost on who she is, and has issues with being vulnerable enough to love and be loved. It's pretty well masked behind her many flirtatious and seductive behaviors, but it's there. This also makes her incredibly fearful of betrayal or people leaving her. She's the kind of person who jumps to conclusions incredibly quickly, and will unnecessarily overthink and overcomplicate things.

Polaris overall enjoys having some fun and working hard. She has a relatively serious and unapproachable demeanor from afar, but after a few conversations it'll become apparent that's not the case. For the most part she's a pretty cool person to be around, but this dog bites.

History

Born in the New World, but parents left for reasons unknown. Father was a researcher that slowly succumbed to an unknown mental illness that made him crazy. Mom was a great and really kind lady, but she died not long after. Aloooooooooone for a while, picked up hunting then headed off to the New World to figure out why they left in the first place. I'll write it out later.

Kronos
[Friends with benefits] Polaris has a very strange relationship with Kronos. He's her closest friend whom she feels she can tell anything to, and she wants it to stay that way forever. But despite having no interest in marriage, and not liking to commit to relationships in general, she can't help but be in love with him. But she's terrified of what that might do to their friendship, so she always buries those feelings deep down and tries to forget about them. Sure they're always flirting with each other, but he's always just joking around. Besides, it's totally normal for friends to make out, right?

Theo
[Friend] Polaris is entirely aware that Theo has a big fat crush on her. It doesn't bother her at all, and she actually enjoys toying with him because of it. But no matter how hard he tries, Theo's will always be just a kid in her eyes, and that's that. She thinks he's cute, and his dorky personality is even quite endearing. She also finds Theo's company to be very refreshing, as he's quite pure of heart. But he's just a fun thing to mess with, nothing more.

Nine
[Enemy] Nine is an A-hole, that's a fact. Nine hates Polaris' entire existence it seems, and Polaris can't stand to put up with him. Though her tactics of dealing with Nine differ greatly from Kronos', as Polaris tends to just avoid him or ignore him entirely if he's spitting garbage. Though she's noticed that between the two, it does seem like Nine hates Kronos more than herself. She often wonders if it's because she's a woman, or if it's because he sees Kronos as a better hunter than her. For Nine's sake, it better not be the latter.

• Wished she could be a Pink Rathian when she was young.
• Favorite color is pink, but gold is a close second.
• Heavily nearsighted & needs glasses. Main reason why she uses weapons that get up close to the monster.
• Doesn't have a super strong perception of what smells 'bad' vs what smells 'good'. Things tend to just smell strong or not as strong. Makes it a lot easier for her to hunt in the Rotten Vale.
• Extreme phobia of bugs.
