Theo Shotel is the youngest hunter of the Fifth Fleet. He’s a pacifist 90% of the time, and can’t stand to kill monsters when they can be captured instead. He’s always dreadfully shy of introducing himself, but he gets more comfortable when getting to know people. He looks ups to those more skilled than he is, and he has self confidence issues. More than anything he wants to prove that he's strong too, even if people laugh at his unusual methods and lack of masculinity.

Theo is a tall, lanky "kid". If it weren't for his baby face, his bright red eyes would be quite intimidating, for he has quite the frightful glare. His light blue hair sticks out in all directions and is constantly frizzy and full of static, an unfortunate byproduct of his inner self. His clear bright skin and smooth features coupled with a nervous high-pitched voice usually lands him plenty of teases from his peers.

Theo is a smart and gentle hunter. His love for his sister Kisinka knows no bounds, and he looks up to nearly anyone who has a quality better than his. Unfortunately he has no self confidence so he admires everyone to a fault. People bullied and teased him all his life so he formed a habit of submitting to others. He almost always believes everything he hears, and so is very gullible. He's most comfortable with his sister, and has a rough time getting to know others due to his nerves. However, when he isn't being a pushover and gets to know someone he tends to overlook their flaws and sees them for who they are. He gives out as many second chances as someone needs, and will put their goals ahead of his own. Theo knows he isn't the best hunter, but he doesn't let that stop him. He'll study and train when no one is looking, trying to be of some use.
