Isolabella Cromwell's Links
Isolabella cannot stress enough how much she hates this next door neighbor. Its only because her squash would beat Isolabella's own at the state fair, not for aesthetic-or-crush reasons... That's wild.
((AKA What is a Rival if not a crush you're mad about having??))
She's excited to meet the new neighbor! She thinks Isolabella is shy but wants her to feel welcomed in the neighborhood.
Isolabella likes this next door neighbor quite a bit, she's very kind and talkative. However, her goodwill only causes more problems for a closeted vampire who doesn't want to get crucified by the neighborhood church. Despite being friendly and likable she's the most likely to find her out, so Isolabella has to be especially careful about what she does in view of the next door neighbor.
Shanice is delighted to have a new neighbor finally move in to the middle house! It had been empty for a good 2 years before Isolabella moved in. Rumors were starting to spiral about the haunting of the middle house, and with the lawn falling into disarray, it was starting to look the part. Even better, the new neighbor is a gardener as well! She's revived the garden of the middle house all by herself, and set up a little beehive in the corner of the yard. How generous! Shanice will be darned if she doesn't welcome this shy new neighbor with a pie and some stubborn found-family bonding.
Ever since she bit him in the forest she's been so guilty whenever she sees him and tries her best to mitigate his vampire symptoms while he remains clueless to his new affliction. She wants to protect him but god every little thing compounds into guilt and remorse that she can't really process other feelings about him. Like whether she tolerates him or not lol
He thinks she's the pretty neighbor whose very mysterious. He treats her the way he treats all his neighbors though, with over familiar friendliness. He's doing his best to gather covert information on Bella's preferences so he can play matchmaker with her and Sarge.
She's quite impressed by his care with her bees, and his very diligent detailed plans and backup plans for his thesis project. She's weak willed and gives him a free pass to intrude on her garden when he pleases despite her concerns over being found out. Something about him reminds her of Arthur though, and she'll gladly take a bit more stress in her life if it means receiving such clear memories of her family; The memories that were starting to fade about the edges.
She's the very pretty neighbor who seems a bit intimidating but she keeps bees and she's a much shorter commute than the other apiarists in the area. When he builds the courage to ask her permission to study her bees he's surprised to fins she's quite nice, if serious. He starts to hold her up as a mentor figure, an adult he goes to when he has worries he doesn't want to bring up with the frat bros.
Millicent can't help but feel hurt and betrayed that Isolabella left their coven to fraternize with humans again. Millicent doesn't ask for much when she offers her cures, only companionship. And Isolabella has rejected even that. After years of taking care of Isolabella during her worst moments. After years of caring for her living family. After everything she and the coven have done for her. The one time she needs something in return from Isolabella, she up and disappears. "Well, don't come crying to me when those people don't accept you."
