Nick "Holly" Hollis's Links
Bros 4 Life! Pazer is Holly's closest friend (plus Wrecker but I digress). The one he comes to for hyping up his successes and consoling his failures, and even (in their own emotionally constipated way) for comfort. Holly is the introvert that's been adopted by the extrovert Pazer after helping Pazer get through freshman comp bio. In the crucibles of freshman gen-eds, these two have wrought a friendship for life, a brotherhood of goofy mischief and unrepentant hope for the future. Y'know, a Fraternity if you will.
Bros 4 Life! Pazer owes Holly his life for helping him pass freshman comp bio, and Pazer does his best to help Holly set up his spreadsheets for his research data whenever he asks. Only cause a bro always helps a bro. But also he recognizes that he can't really do much else for Holly since he's so self-sufficient and good at everything that he's always willing to help when he can contribute something meaningful. They've got a similar sense of humor, and Holly is always the bro that Pazer can cry to without judgement. He's not a very good cuddle (so bony and gets too antsy too quickly) but the gesture is welcomed nevertheless!
She's the very pretty neighbor who seems a bit intimidating but she keeps bees and she's a much shorter commute than the other apiarists in the area. When he builds the courage to ask her permission to study her bees he's surprised to fins she's quite nice, if serious. He starts to hold her up as a mentor figure, an adult he goes to when he has worries he doesn't want to bring up with the frat bros.
She's quite impressed by his care with her bees, and his very diligent detailed plans and backup plans for his thesis project. She's weak willed and gives him a free pass to intrude on her garden when he pleases despite her concerns over being found out. Something about him reminds her of Arthur though, and she'll gladly take a bit more stress in her life if it means receiving such clear memories of her family; The memories that were starting to fade about the edges.
He appreciates her for bringing home cooked food over as thanks for the frat's help around her yard, but he doesn't really know her that well. If she's not at work, then he is. But regardless, she's a good neighbor and he tries to remain respectful to return the favor.
He's pretty shy, despite hanging out with the loudest hockey bros imaginable. Still, she thinks he could be a good influence on them, and that they could bring him out of his shell eventually.
