Profile

Tal-tal was the Hellwarden of Lucifer's Cold, one of the layers of Hell. Their job involved making sure that people thrown in there were suffering properly and that nobody would escape before their time was up. There, they often lowered the morale of their prisoners by using their bodies as percussion instruments to accompany their flute playing.
Tal-tal is unpredictable and subjects others to their whimsies; whether  they’ll hold up their end of a bargain is hard to say. They often give  inconsistent answers about themself when asked – one day they may prefer  tea, the next they may prefer coffee, and oh, what are you talking  about, they've always preferred coffee!

Originally a general from ancient times that had led their army to death after being cornered, Tal-tal willingly put themself through every zone of hell to atone; this only led them to developing a twisted personality and losing most of their sense of self. At the very least, their enthusiasm and drive made them a prime candidate to be appointed a warden.
Once the Devil had left Hell, Tal-tal began to wonder how much the world on the surface had changed in all the years they had been gone, and what exactly was so great about it that it had caused their boss to go MIA. They’d learned much from new arrivals, but most of their stories just made it sound so miserable.
They gathered the souls suffering in their part of Hell and twisted them into one large mass in the shape of an arm, giving themself a lift to the world of the living.
The hand that accompanies them serves as a minion, transportation device, and a pet. It is ice-cold to the touch and may cause frostbite upon prolonged contact. Tal-tal manipulates it with puppet strings that come forth from playing their daegeum (flute).

Tal-tal’s gameplay is rather balanced despite being a puppeteer; they can either send out the Hand forward to do some zoning, or use the hand to throw them as a projectile or swing them around.

  • Due to years of enduring the harsh conditions of their jurisdiction of  hell, Tal-tal is immune to the cold. They've got very high pain  tolerance as well.
  • Tal-tal calls the hand a different name almost every time. This is because they're referring to a name of one of the many souls that are trapped within the hand. Most others will simply refer to the hand as The Hand.
  • Though they claim to have abandoned the path of a general, it can be argued that they still continue to command an arm(y).
