Roslan is dragged by Charles onto a trip to Laghsotti for the bat's yearly reunion with his family. It doesn't look any different than the times that he has been on this trip, but strange occurrences have been sighted by the wary tamaskan. Charles claims that it was simply the spooks that are commonplace in this part of the world, but is there more to the castle than he thought he knew?

Mild Violence

My friends have remarked that the section where the main character realises that she's wounded has caused them to feel uneasy after reading it. In particular, it features the word "bone", so if you're the squeamish type, I would suggest that you leave now.

The creature came out of nowhere. It raided communities of their livestock and food surplus. It left many injured.

It was up to Scarlette to put a stop to this madness. She had faced a number of creatures prior to this task, and according to eyewitnesses, this one had only brute strength and the wiles of a wild beast. It should be fine, right?

Minor swearing featured. It can't be an actual story if there weren't some swearing now, can it?

Aberdeen has not come to work for a couple of days. Not an uncommon occurrence, as he doesn't do much at the pub anyways. But when he hasn't answered his phone just as long, it becomes a worrisome matter for his employees. Eve and Scarlette have been sent by their manager to make sure that he is alright, but is he truly?
