Traits:
Brooklyn’s someone who you would describe as a picture-perfect hero; she always puts others first before herself, and she’s willing to put herself in danger to protect people and the things she feels is right. She’s always there to try to give advice, or to call out others on their wrongful and toxic behavior. She’s also an incredibly hard worker, really wanting to go big lengths to prove herself to be a great hero. She can let this mentality get to her head a bit though, as she can come off as an overachiever.

Brooklyn can also be described as someone who’s very gullible though, sadly enough. If it’s anything to make someone happy, she’s willing to do it if she thinks she’s being helpful enough. She’s really a kind person, only really getting serious and angry in dire situations where it calls for it. She loves to hang out and be around others, experiencing other cultures. Any of her friends are prompted to her constantly cheering them on, giving them encouragement. She’s also quite good at reading emotions- she’s the type to ask if you’re alright out of the blue and go above and beyond when you’re upset.

Brooklyn absolutely adores her mother- ever since their father passed away, Brooklyn has been extremely close to her, she’s a definite mama’s girl. Since Jessica already lost the love of her life due to hero work, she’s constantly on the lookout for Brooklyn and even at times show’s a bit of resentment to the lifestyle as a hold. While she is very concerned for her daughter’s safety, she really tries her best to support Brook from the sidelines and is proud of her for perusing her passions. 

Father:
Richard Lawson (deceased) 
Richard was the original hero named Tulpa- Brooklyn inherited her quirk from him. He was admired by many people in America, and really loved being with his family whenever he had the off time. He inspired Brooklyn so much, she’s always admired him for how he handles his job and how fairly he treated other people. Unfortunately, Richard was killed in battle by an incredibly dangerous villain in a very gruesome way. His death is constantly on her mind, and Brooklyn misses him very much. But the thought of bringing his legacy back to life pushes her, and that’s what causes her to work so hard.   

Siblings:
Cheyanne Lawson (alive- 14 years old)
Cheyanne being Brook’s younger sister means that she legally must be the annoying sibling. Cheyanne loves to tease and taunt Brooklyn, she really loves and cares about her, but she can’t help but have fun bugging her. Cheyanne also mostly goes to her big sister for help with problems or when she’s feeling upset because she knows Brook is good with those things. Overall, they have a pretty good sibling relationship.

Friends:
Kiyoshi Mayonaka (Class 2-B Member)
Kiyoshi was the first person to reach out to her once she started attending UA, and they’ve been close ever since. She really enjoys talking and spending time with him, overall, she thinks Kiyoshi is a sweet guy and is going to become a great hero someday. She also really tries her best to hype him up with the situation he’s in with Iida now. 

Ayami Akira (Class 2-B Member)
She really enjoys Ayami’s company!! Brooklyn won’t admit it but she’s a bit jealous of how cool Ayami’s quirk is- she also sees how much confident Ayami can be during hero training, and she’s super proud of her for it. Brook really tries her best to help her get out of her shell. Same with Kiyoshi, her and Brooklyn met once starting their time at UA and they’ve basically been good friends since. The two like to go to the mall or just go walking through nature together.

Acquaintances:

Besides being in the same class together, Brooklyn knows quite a bit about him through Ayami. She thinks Kurtis and Ayami are super cute together, and she does sees Kurtis as a super nice guy. They just don’t happen to be super close is all. Brooklyn really likes his quirk, she thinks it’s super cute.

Katashi Seishin (Class 2-B Member)
She really doesn’t know much about Katashi at all as he clearly distances himself from the rest of the class. She certainly respects him and finds his quirk incredibly interesting, but she can’t help but feel bad for him since he seems very disconnected from others.

Quirk Name: Imaginary Friend

Description:
Brooklyn’s quirk allows her to conjure any living creature she could possibly imagine with her hands alone, for about 10 minutes at most before it wears her out. When she does this, a bright blue light emits from her hands. 

Strengths:
• She can create any creature she wants, doesn’t matter how many or how large
• Her imaginations obey her every command, so they’re easy to manage
• The creatures she creates don’t even necessarily need to be real at all. It could be something completely made up, the possibilities are endless to what she can make, really. It could even be a human.

Weaknesses:
• If she were to imagine a person and try to copy them, they won’t come out as exact copies. If she loses concentration while creating a creature, the creature will come out deformed.
• While it doesn’t matter how many or the size of the imagination she comes up with, the larger the amount or the more complicated the imagination can be dangerous for her. Complicated things could render her unconscious if her power is overused.
• This is more like a downside to the quirk, but she has to focus on physical fighting in case she can’t defend herself using her quirk. 

Hero Costume:
• Her hero costume is heavily based off of her father’s original creation, right down to the T on her belt
• The shield over her eyes allows her to be able to see when using her quirk, as the light that comes out of her hands when using it can be quite blinding
• There’s really nothing else too flashy about it, it was mostly style choices. She feels like if her father could’ve managed without fancy armor, she can too.

Background 

Brooklyn was born and raised in Maine, USA and lived a happy life for a short while with her family. Her father was a pro hero named Tulpa, one who was very good at his job and who gained a lot of respect throughout the hero scene. Brooklyn admired his father so much, for everything he did to help people and how much he benefited society. She just wanted to grow up to be just like him. Because of this, Brooklyn spent a good portion of her childhood studying Japanese and looking into hero schools there because she knew she would get the most out of a hero education in that country. Brooklyn’s father supported her through thick and thin in her studies, always encouraging her.

Sadly, the tragic death of Brooklyn’s father flipped her entire life upside down, when Brooklyn turned 13. Her father was bested by an extremely strong villain. She was heartbroken at the revelation of this, and for a long time she wanted to quit trying to be a hero altogether. But she did manage to think long and hard about if for a while, and then concluded that she needs to take her father’s legacy into her own hands. After a long talk with her mother, Brooklyn’s family finally decided to move to Japan in support of Brooklyn’s future hero career. Eventually after 3 years of hard work, Brooklyn got herself into U with flying colors. She really hopes that she can make her dad proud someday, and that she’ll be a great hero and inspiration like he was.
