[Related] Pops here may look cruel and cold, but Lock knows what he's really like. He's just a lovable guy that wants to make sure his family's doing all right, and he does a pretty damn good job of it. Lock's always admired him, he's the whole reason he even studied law in the first place!
[Related] Both the twins are something Gil was never prepared for, even after reading countless books over the matter. They run him ragged, even to this day and age, but he's still very proud of them and loves them dearly.
Lock used to look up to Cameron, he was always excited to see him! To think that all this time there was a monster smiling back at him...
Kiddo's a lot smarter than he gave him credit for! Figured out all of the things Cameron had did, even to his, what, ancestor at this point? Even with all the facts staring him in the face, Cameron can't help but grin.
[Lovers] Lock ran into Clover during the craziest of events. First he met her because he was supposed to SUE her for... attacking an entire cult?? Then he stumbles upon her at a random hotel that she didn't even remember checking into? She's bizarre. But he always liked her attitude and would help her when he could. Eventually, he found himself catching feelings and wouldn't leave her alone until she agreed to a date.
Through a series of crazy events, Clover continuously seemed to find herself running into Lock. He annoyed her from the beginning, eventually getting her so annoyed that her face would flush and heart skip a beat when she sees him (shut up, that's ABSOLUTELY a thing that can happen!!). She finally relented to a date, and the rest is history.
[Related] There's no doubt that Lock got his energy from his ma. It seems like it was only yesterday that they'd all turn into dogs and chase each other around the house. At least until pops came back from work.
[Related] Maple is so unbelievably proud of her two kiddos. Both of them, important lawyers! How amazing are they, right? Every time they visit home, she can't help but get so excited!
Being a lawyer, Lock usually meets with someone in the police force in order to learn about the crime scene and build his case. Jekyll's usually the one he meets up with, and he's always excited when they work together. What are the chances he'd see another dog in this profession?!
Who would've thought he'd run into an another dog that took on a human form? Technically Lock was a wolf, but his demeanor was much like a dog so it's very easy to get along with him. Always driven by justice, Jekyll helps Lock with many cases.
[Related] Lock loves his sister. They've been side-by-side from the minute they were born, and though they can come off as vicious enemies in the courtroom they're still as close as ever. However, no matter what she says, Lock is SURE that he's the older twin!
[Related] Despite the rivalry inside the courtroom, Cher knows that her brother always has her back, and that she always has his, even if his thieving gig drives her NUTS. Still, her twin brother is her best friend since birth, and nothing will come between that. She'll make sure he knows that older twin doesn't matter because they're both still the same age regardless.
Being a prosecutor, Lock doesn't exactly work at Kestrel's firm, though he's commonly seen spending his free time there to hang out with Cher. He looks up to Kestrel too and finds her to be incredibly talented. He fears the day he goes up against her.
After seeing Lock's work in the courtroom, she's somewhat disappointed that he works on the opposite side to her own firm's work. He seems every bit as capable and fierce in court as his sister, and she holds great respect for him as well. For prosecution cases that her firm isn't defending against or she feels are just, she'll assist him in making a case where she can. Still, if she ever meets him in the courtroom, she WON'T be holding back.
[Rivals] If he's not against his sister, he's usually up against D, and MAN is that guy annoying. He's a tough opponent all right, but what really gets Lock is that the guy smells like cats! It's really distracting!
[Rivals] Walker is a threat to the very existence of Fentz's cats, not to mention Lock has a tendency to lie to get his way--a complete obstruction of justice! It's incredible to him how many times they're put in the court against each other. Besides, that show-offy attitude is obnoxious.
Lock had heard about Jackson from his father and grandfather, but this was the first time he actually met him. The guy was fun and talented! It was easy for Lock to look up to him. And when offered the chance to follow in his footsteps he could only eagerly accept.
Being brainwashed by an all-powerful being put a damper on Jackson's aging process, so by the time he was back to normal he found that the entire world had moved forward a good few decades. He remembered Jey's grandkids when they were babies, and now their kids were grown up! Lock's energy reminded him a lot of himself, and he got the idea to pass down the Master Thief's title to him.
Lock and Ty are not only coworkers but close friends! In fact, they've been friends since law school! He loves Ty's energy, and his passion for justice always fires him up too!
They work together, both being prosecutors, and they get along great. They've known each other since law school and have been close ever since. Ty loves Lock's energy, and he's a fun as hell drinking partner. But ever since Lock settled down with someone Ty couldn't help but realize how old and alone he himself was...
