Personality
The first thing that’s immediately obvious about Atticus is that he knows how to have a good time. He’s the kind of guy who has a big smile on his face and a twinkle in his eye as he tells you a plan to make whatever situation you’re in better than before. Atticus can and will make a bad situation great.
People tend to think that Atticus is irresponsible, but he is in fact the opposite. Give him a task to do and he will do above and beyond. He likes being responsible, especially for kids. Atticus is fond of kids, and wants to make sure they get the greatest lives possible. Of course, most people can’t see beyond his fun loving exterior and understand that.
Atticus is the kind of guy who needs to be involved. It’s important to him that he’s up to date on all the goings on around him and doing something to help. He also likes to touch things. This has lent itself to many nights where he just… pets his husband’s feathers. Seriously, they’re so soft. Soft things good.
Even though Atticus likes to be responsible and involved, he doesn’t do well when people tell him what to do. He tends to get combative when being asked to do something by someone in power, rather than just doing the thing himself. He values his independence something fierce.
When it comes to the people he loves, Atticus is loyal to a fault. It’s very difficult for him to put morality over the things his family and friends do, although he’s fairly certain that none of them are actually doing anything harmful. If it came down to it, Atticus would save the people he loves over the rest of the world.
Design Notes
- Atticus can access the ringox feral form.
- Most of Atticus’ markings are made using either a dust or smoke brush. As long as it’s translucent and vaguely particle-y, it’s fine.
- Atticus’ tail is nearly as long as he is tall.
- Atticus prefers a fairly feminine style of presentations, especially more revealing stuff. Clothes get hot with all that fur!
Trivia
- Atticus is almost constantly tripping over his own tail. However, it also helps him balance. Yay?
- Although Atticus could’ve done some sort of employ, he decided he wanted to be a stay at home husband instead. The workload is comparable, and he doesn’t have to deal with bosses at all.
- Atticus likes to sew things for fun. He makes a lot of gifts for other people because if he didn’t, his house would be covered in fancy handmade things.
- Atticus is fairly well known on the clubbing scene and can hold his alcohol like a pro.
History
Atticus is one of Juliette and Cassandra’s biological twins. He was always the more energetic of the two, and the one who got into trouble the most. However, Atticus was a great kid. He loved people after all, and was generally super nice.
During school, Atticus made friends with a kid named Bit. Bit was an outcast - his parents were petty criminals who spent a ridiculous amount of time in jail for minor infractions. Plus, he was way larger than all the other kids - almost a literal giant. Atticus, of course, was more than willing to overlook any and all differences and became close friends with him. Unfortunately, Bit moved away while they were both teenagers and they weren’t able to keep in contact.
Despite the loss of his best friend, Atticus was very invested in living his life to the fullest. He did quite well, too, even if he decided against trying to get into any career and instead doing odd jobs so he could work on his hobbies instead.
Eventually, when he was 23 and Bit was 24, they met at a club. Instantly they reconnected and decided to go out. It was clear that even though years had passed, the two of them were still quite good for each other.
Atticus has had an incredibly chill life thanks to his wonderful moms. Nowadays he’s living a cozy domestic life and getting involved with as many good programs as he can. And yes, he does know about everything that Bit does. It doesn’t really hurt anyone though, he doesn’t care.

Atticus and Bit have an incredibly chill and honest relationship. Bit is upfront about everything he does, and for once Atticus doesn’t generally want to be involved. Well, except for occasionally when Bit needs the extra help. Beyond that, they have a very soft and loving relationship with a lot of fun involved.
Atticus thinks its very silly that Juliette wants him to do something with his life. He is! He’s devoting his life to his hobbies and not bothering with work and things at all. He also thinks its very silly that she thinks Bit is “shady looking” considering the fact that she knew him as a kid. However, they still keep in touch and Atticus comes to her for advice.
Atticus absolutely adores his Mama. She’s where he got all his parenting skills from after all, and they are brilliant! He’ll always take some time off to go on an adventure with her, too. After all, he’s got quite a few more centuries left to live. Why not spend some of that time with his darling mother?
Although Atticus quite likes Penelope, she is… incredibly irritating at times. She honestly takes a lot after their mother Juliette in her stances on him. However, she is a lot less pushy about things than Juliette is. He’s chill with hanging out with her, so long as she doesn’t start talking about his husband or his lack of a job.
Reina is the Cool Sister TM. Although they have an agreement not to discuss things that are either illegal or something they can’t otherwise speak about, they still manage to be extremely honest about everything else to each other. Plus, Reina is always down for a good time (provided she’s not busy with… whatever her work is, of course!).
