Ryukin

Whatever Ryukin does, she’s gotta be first. She’s incredibly determined to be the best at everything and nothing will get in her way. Unfortunately, she might have ruined a decent amount of friendships that way. She doesn’t always care about people when she could be number one. It’s a very immature attitude to have, and she hasn’t realized that yet.

Ryukin is very particular with the way things go. She’s a complete neat freak and will not tolerate it when people put things away wrong. She’s the person who stays behind and cleans up after big parties. Messes bother her that much. She gets a little persnickety about messes, so her friends have learned to clean up properly so she doesn’t get cranky.

Ryukin is incredibly loud, almost to the point of being obnoxious. She can’t help it - she wants to be heard and she’ll make sure she is. She’s also quite oblivious and doesn’t take the emotions of others into account whenever she does something. This has caused quite the number of conflicts that Ryukin doesn’t quite know how to handle.

However, Ryukin does care a lot about other people. A lot of the things she does once she gets out of her own head is for the greater food - she protests against the government, puts a lot of effort into making sure everyone is provided for, and takes time out of her day to check on others. This works out decently well, especially considering both her parents are activists and she takes after them.

Ryukin is secretly a huge nerd. Ideally she would be able to share her appreciation for the things she likes but she’s faced an unfortunate amount of teasing for the things she likes. So, she feels a need to keep it quiet. However, if you get Ryukin started talking about her interests, she won’t stop talking and it’s wonderful.

Although Ryukin wasn’t by any means an expected child, she was welcomed with open arms by her parents Styx and Cyprinus. They raised her with the expectation to join them in their anti-government protests, which she found valuable. Ryukin was very attached to her parents, and never wanted to go anywhere without them.

Unfortunately for Ryukin though, Cyprinus spent a lot of time away from home. This meant that Ryukin was often deprived of her very important mom-time and was thus very distraught. Sure, she loved her mom but couldn’t she be home more?

With Styx’ help, Ryukin was able to turn her frustration and anger into something productive - running. She’d always been sporty, and this just gave her a chance to get super competitive. It was wonderful, and her successes got her mom’s attention. Of course, Ryukin didn’t quite have the best relationship with her teammates, but oh well.

Ryukin has just barely moved out and begun making friends. Socializing is hard! However, she’s learning and is hopefully going to get much better in the near future. Hopefully.
