Profile

Binóri Melons [LINK]
Preferring cold environments with high winds, the Binóri family of melons, usually called 'Mountain Melons', are camouflaged and armoured fruit of usually larger sizes. As the name would suggest, they are most typically found in high-altitude areas, with natural melons being typically found from their flowers, rather then the melon themselves. Rather surprisingly, different tastes and colourations of melons come from the environment they are typically grown in. For example, after a number of saplings were successfully planted on Martian soil, the melons slowly lost inherited texturing and colouration to match with the soil. Currently, the melons are used in a number of different products ranging from food to hygiene, with the most natural or most heavily looked after providing the best tastes.

Réiti Cane [LINK]
An uncommon find in shops with Plystrian Imports, the Réiti Cane is a water-intensive plant that grows tall and thin. While their existence is nothing too impressive, what brings their biggest attention to them is how they are consumed, and just many lies and falsities have grown from their apparent usages, which range from minor medicinal benefits to several allegations to hallucinogenic/psychedelic effects that have made them illegal in a number of galactic territories. To keep our document simplified, these stem from how the Réiti Cane is traditionally eaten, being burnt into charcoal and consumed. To those who frequently eat the plant, it has been reported that the most delectable experience coming from eating the cane while it is still burning, due to the freshness of the newly formed sugars and short-lasting flavourings. Though note, there has been proven absolutely no alternative psychological effects from eating these.

Vulíntu Trees [LINK]
Known more commonly as 'Bird Fruit Trees' or 'Flying Fruit Trees', this rather sizable species of tree dominate Plystre's orchards and surrounding areas thanks to their ease of growth, extent of reproduction, and a number of media that portrays them. All in all, these circumstances means that they are one of the planet's highest domestic exports outside of shipbuilding. What makes them special is how the fruit fall, a special mass of feathery leaves act as a parachute, while the unusual shape of the fruit allows it to spin and keep it from falling faster. Combined, it has been recorded that when a fruit falls, it can roughly take just under a minute before it hits the ground in calm air conditions. However, during heavy winds, some fruits have been recorded to travel multiple miles away from the tree that original grew it.
