BACKSTORY:

Frederick lives in a city mostly occupied by humans, with the non-human population slowly increasing. He is the leader of the Dove Association, a group responsible for maintaining peace between these two populations. They resolve conflicts and deal with non-human criminals that the police aren't equipped to handle. The majority of Fred's employees are people he knows personally, making them a small but close-knit group.

Frederick is a serious, reserved man who's usually busy with work. He is very undemonstrative - however, it's a misconception that he doesn't care about anyone, as he has several good friends and values them deeply. He likes to focus on what he considers important, straying away from meaningless conversation, leisure time, and jokes. Despite his lack of outward emotion, he seems to possess a certain charisma - people are drawn to him, and he does his best to help anyone who needs it.

Fred can sometimes display a ruthless side and will kill without regret if he needs to, but prefers to avoid unnecessary violence. He is generally law-abiding, but isn't afraid to bend or break rules in certain situations. He plans carefully before taking action, although sometimes fails to consider every angle and isn't immune to making bad choices. He usually talks in a formal manner that can come off as stiff or awkward.

Fred is somewhat prudish - lewd comments either fly over his head or fluster him horribly. He has trouble understanding jokes and interpreting sarcasm, and is hopeless at giving comfort. However, he does have a surprisingly creative side and enjoys writing stories, though prioritises work over leisure every time.

DESIGN:

Frederick has a slight build, pale skin, and long, wavy blond hair. He has red eyes like all vampires. In regards to clothing, he favours lighter colours and plain designs. He sometimes wears a silver bird-shaped brooch.

He is missing three teeth on his upper-right side, including one of his vampire fangs.

ABILITIES:

Fred has the same general abilities as other vampires in my world. These include high strength and reflexes, powerful healing, and the ability to shapeshift into animals. His preferred animal form is a white dove.

His healing ability allows him to recover from most injuries, no matter how severe, with no lasting damage. However, he can't completely regrow missing body parts - and as such, being decapitated or losing vital organs would kill him. Wood is poisonous to him. Sunlight and garlic have no effect.

Fred is a skilled marksman, able to shoot fast and accurately even at moving targets. His favourite weapon is a sniper rifle.

RELATIONSHIPS:

Armin

Fred's father, who abruptly disappeared when Fred was a child. They reunited over two centuries later, both having been turned into vampires. Though their relationship is slightly awkward due to being separated for so long, they care for each other as family.

Ryder

Fred is Ryder's boss, but also one of his closest friends. They met when Ryder was struggling to stay afloat and Fred offered him work. Nowadays, Ryder is one of the people Fred trusts the most.

TRIVIA:

- Enjoys writing and hopes to become a published author someday. His stories tend to have a lot of psychological horror and suspense.

- Finds nicknames annoying.

- He lost three teeth (including a fang) from being mauled by a werewolf several decades ago.

- Germaphobic. He keeps his house very clean, washes frequently and avoids touching anything he considers dirty. In particular, bodily fluids make him extremely uncomfortable. He is very neat when drinking blood.

- Dislikes physical contact. He can tolerate a brief handshake or a clap on the shoulder, but even such casual touches annoy him when they're done without his permission.
