Enid was born to a working family. She joined the guard when she came of age and succeeded in her job greatly. However, in her youth she began a fling with an elf merchant named Travalur Phidove. When she eventually became pregnant, both her and Travalur agreed to have Travalur take the baby in order for it to have a better life with it's wealthy father and so Enid could continue her career. She knew it was best for everyone, though she loves her son greatly.

Eventually, Enid advanced to become the Captain of the Trefiumi city guard. She became a well-known member of the city and first line of contact for adventurers. This is how she met the group of heroes attempting to uncover the evil in the world. She decided to help them, as she was already suspicious of a cover up going on in the city. Unbeknownst to her, one of the members was actually her long lost son Orin, who was suffering from a curse that was slowly poisoning him. In helping the others, she hopes to save her son from his curse and have a relationship with him.
