Katrin is an extremely calm and level-headed person, letting her rational be her guide over her emotions. She's very logical, and will often talk about any problems out loud so as to solve them, even if they aren't her own. However, as a result, her emotional intuition is a bit lacking, and she has trouble picking up on more emotional cues from people and expressing her own. When in public, she seems to be very rigid and uptight, but this is more an attempt at making sure that she doesn't accidentally bring any sort of shame to her family. In private, she relaxes quite considerably, and is able to make jokes and have fun. Around her dragons she's basically a Cat MomTM, and will treat them with much affection.

Childhood

The youngest of the king of Vindur's five children, Katrin was always a very reserved child, preferring to play on the shore rather than perform any sort of noble duties. It was here on these beaches that she met the Sea Dragon, Delphine. The two formed a bond, and the goddess granted the young Katrin with a remarkable gift; the talent of raising and taming dragons. This became a large strength to the kingdom, and became a source of pride for her father.

Youth

As a teenager, Katrin began to mingle around the kingdoms, becoming introduced and friends with the prince of the neighboring kingdom, Hopper. Seeing how frightened he seemed to be of most things, Katrin gifted him a mask that one of her older siblings had given her as a child: a reminder to always have heart and be brave. She wasn't prepared for him to take it quite as literally as he did, but the young man is still her precious friend, with or without his mask on.

Young Adulthood

As she grew older and her power stronger, the stories of the Dragon Princess spread to various other kingdoms and garnered the attention of many suitors wanting to strengthen their kingdoms with the talent she possessed. Katrin would turn away all of her suitors, not interested in any of these random royals and nobles that threw themselves her way in such pitiful attempts. Still, many pursue her and she has to find creative ways to shake the more persistent ones off.

• Katrin's home country, Vindur, is located within Denmark.
• Along with dragon taming, Katrin is also very talented at archery.
• Lovingly calls her dragons "chunks".
• She has a pretty big sweet tooth, and has made it a goal to try as many sweets from each of the kingdoms as she can.
• She'll often carry around weaker baby dragons around in her pockets to make sure they get enough attention that they can grow up strong and thrive. This also makes them more gentle and patient around others.
