The paranoid Frog Prince, scared of every little thing.
So he wears a mask to give him confidence.

Being a prince is a big responsibility! You're training to rule an entire country! Something like that can't be taken so lightly, you have to train hard and can't let anything get you, otherwise your home will be left without a leader!
That was what Hopper always thought, a mantra he recited endlessly until it twisted and changed into a plethora of irrational fears. He had to keep himself safe and the entire world, meanwhile, is out there hunting for him! It's frightening!
Someone special saw this and gave him a mask, saying that it scared away anything evil. Hopper clung to that mask, he adored it and had it on him all the time. It protected him, it gave him courage. Maybe... too much courage. People noticed that whenever he wore the mask he became loud and aggressive, like an entirely different person.

The young prince is definitely an enigma.

Notes: Originally Hopper was meant to be a DnD character, but as I tried to design him on Picrew and play around with the features, I looked at the end result and thought he more fit Balthazar's kind of style: green and suave. I decided to keep the DnD concept of being scared until behind the mask and transfer it to this prince, and after talking to my friends about him I finished making this sweet ball of fear. It's definitely nice having a character filter a bunch of silly fears KEKEKEK

Personality: A ball of anxiety and fear, Hopper is filled to the brim with irrational fears and is convinced that one wrong move will seal his fate. He's very quiet and distant, easily startled and tends to run away to safety. His fears keep him up at night, making him tired.
When he wears his mask it's like a switch is turned on. He becomes the hero he's always dreamed of (his dad) and becomes loud and brash. He's eager to run into any sign of danger to meet it head on, protecting anyone around him, always laughing brightly.

Non-Human Weapons:
- Guillotine - A pair of axes he got from his dad. These axes can click together into a double-headed axe, and with some maneuvering can also turn into duel rapiers.

Non-Magic Abilities:
- Animals - Can talk to animals.
- Magic - Capable of turning people into animals and vice versa. This can be reversed by a kiss from their True Love or from him removing the effects. He can also manipulate objects into moving around and sometimes can even turn inanimate objects into creatures.

Drawing Details: It's a family tradition to have at least some green in the royal bloodline's hair, hence the few strands of green in Hopper's. If his face isn't hidden behind his red Hannya mask you'll find a very paranoid expression: a small frown, kneaded eyebrows, and bags under his eyes. He has freckles and black earrings. His outfit consists of a green vest and a matching green tie with a black coat over his shoulders and an off-white scarf hanging off his shoulders.

Fun/Extra Facts:

- The kingdoms used to be hidden from humans but are now out in the open, seen more as a secondary government ruling over non-humans. These kingdoms are shared with the countries, such as Anthea and Germany.

- His logic around his irrational fears typically end with him thinking it will result in his death.

- Fears birds, cats, and dogs the most. He heard they eat frogs.

- A fine fighter with his mask on, but actually terrifyingly strong without it. He won't fight with it off, though.

- Admires his fathers, especially Revere.

- Friends with the Litari royal family, specifically En.

- Learned how to fight from Revere. Until he learned it was the incorrect way to fight.

- His axes alone are large, but when combined they are ENORMOUS.

- Sometimes turns his axes into frogs.

- Can speak German and English. Trying to learn Italian and Danish.

- In love with Katrin.
