Story
History
When he was young Vergus found himself captured by a few townsfolk during a time where dwellings weren't particularly fond of other species other than themselves due to a drought. He was put on the streets and made a freakshow before a kindred spirit rescued him. Vergus didn't want to leave his new friend but was eventually released back into the wilderness and was taken in by an older dragon. As he grew up Vergus gained power and territory, soon becoming one of the more feared Draconians in Sunland. However, he stayed in solitude so he wasn't a huge threat, enjoying the peace in his life (as lonely as it can be sometimes). His solitude was soon broken when a pirate ship found its way weaving through his cliffside, and Vergus doesn't take kindly to that sort.
Personality
This big lug is quite intimidating at first glance, but he's more of a chill giant than anything. Vergus puts up lots of walls to make sure others don't use him for any type of gain laced in greed. He's got treasures and land to protect and won't let others push him around. Despite the readiness to break a few spines, Vergus lacks the incentive to do so unless threatened. He likes to wander the land and admire what nature has to offer to the draconian. Being alone gives him peace of mind, but because of this constant isolation, Vergus tends to be on the shy side (though he might not look it). If Vergus finally warms up to anyone, he'd be sure to appreciate their company a lot and would probably follow them around like a lost puppy to please them. Vergus is quite kind, just not to strangers.
