Spawned at the Midnight Beach, Shimmer lived there alone in a little coraline cave with their dear sea puppy, and their beloved giant monster eel, only seeing other living beings when they went to the village not very far from there to sell their beverages and get commodities (with the exception of their neighbour who eventually became a friemd <:3). Spending the days as if they were in a never ending vacation, and discovering-developing their passion for brew-making and potioncrafting, someday they felt like they needed a big change if they wanted to get better and grow (in various ways), so they packed their stuff and made a special to saddle for them and Tasha to ride on top of Miqua and sail across the ocean, and all of them ended up in the Worldford Forest where only Shimmer and the puppy could enter to explore since Miqua was just roo big :^( (but they waited for them on the dock <:3), and then they encountered Certain Place and got lost for like a weeks (running away from soMEOnE that was trying to KILL EM,) and could put to test their magic (and non-magic) habbilities for survival, until they were found by chance by Chantrea and Steph, who helped by putting them to safery and later offering guidance in getting outta there

(They got along very well, and a beautiful friendship that ended up in ♥️ after sometime was born)
After exit the forest to the small hidden dock, vullows and familiars decided to explore the Skipping Stone Islands one by one, and when they got to Citrine they fell in love with the eternal autumn landscape and the tranquility and mysterious aura the place had, so they instaled there in one of the various abandoned mansions, one next to the beach (we dont mind ghosts here) and each one lived together having fun and working on their passions—Shimmy making their potions and brews and selling them online and Chanty building machines and repairing others that people sent them from the other islands, even from the other side of the ocean

One of Shim's goas is to make enough wealth with their bussines so they can buy the nearly abandoned island and properly take care of it, and make it more connected with the rest of the world, making traveling easier and safer

Is here in Citrine where one day they found Vodsel almost dead in one of the orange forests, attacked by the dangerous local fauna, and rescued them. The couple took care of the poor thing who was so grateful that they offered their services as a healer to them both and helped them in everything they could, and since they clicked fairly well, with the pass of time the three of em ended in a poly relationship.❤️❤️❤️

Sometime after that Shimmer started to get bored and missed the exciting days where they traveled alongside Chantrea, and after talking with them darlings about that the trio agreed to move to a new destination, few days and few discussions later they chose Pernith City to be their new temporal home—Shimmer wanted to open a bar to sell their brews and Vodsel wanted to help ´em via looking for the ingredients, and Chantrea could work a lot better with the technology there and therefore have more clients—They were sure that together they could make so much money in way less time that they would here, so with those expectations and hopes the trio packed their stuff, locked and secured their home for when they come in the future and started their journey where the dumbasses got lost and almost died in more than 1 occassion across the sea (with an unexpected stop in the Wolford Forest), the Midnight Beach and the south part of the bigass Landow Forest (skirting the ocean as much as they could) to Pernith.

Once there, after a few burocratic processes that went pretty fast thanks to Shimmy's special persuasion, the 3 frends instaled in a 5 floors appartament building on the city's seafront (its was half abandoned but after the negotiations they could repair it and inhabit there without much problem >:3c) and The Starlight Brew Shop opened their doors to the public in the ground floor alongside Chanty´s garage in the first floor~✨

Personality

Shim is a sweet, kind and friendly peep who is trying their best and loves to help and take care of everyone they can. Goofy and funny they also love to joke around and play with them friends and pet(s), making people laugh and have a good time is one of the things that make them happy the most, the other os being with their dear ones and making people happy with their magic <:3 Shy and kinda distant at first but pretty cheerful once you get to talk to them a bit more

They are also pretty forgetful and worries too much about everything/everyone, and maybe a bit too overprotective with the beings they care about, also very hermetic with their feelings and what they are really thinking when things that annoy them happens. Often gets superexcited easily about whatever only to burn it in a matter of days. Tends to be very emotional too, emphatizes easily and its not rare seeing them crying for whatever thing, usually over stuff other would consider silly

trivia/notes

• Shim is a pretty powerful magic user. Naturally, their echanter magic only works for themselves (they cant put the spell on others to be magically charming like them), and can only enchant people that are in the same room as them via direct visual contact for at least 5 seconds (but the more the better), and only of the same species as Shim (aka other vullows) but most of the time thats enough so it aight uwu (and they have sum potions for when it isnt huehue). If they dont end it before, the spell fades in 8 hours (unless they help it getting stuck with another magic thing). And regarding their potionmaster magic, they are able to craft basically any potion for any purpose.... with the right ingredients of course <:3 (and they know which ones they need to look for) and following ALL the proper steps in the right order~
• Despite the convenience, they dont really like using the echanting powers at all... they feel real bad manipulating people like that so they only use them with good/harmless intentions, like helping or putting others out of danger (and making their existance a bit easier...)
• Tbh if it werent for their enchanter magic sad pubby expression they would face rejection from others pretty frequently, basically due to their raptourous traits and being not only a black magic user but also a trickster one too ("worst combo bluh bluh"), but once people realize they are pretty much harmless they are usually gud most of the time <:3c; (but still almost no one wants to get near them and most of the clients just exchange a few words unless Shim works their magic hñm) 
• Because of that (and some self image issues) they developed few special and specific potions to hide them weird traits by changing them to common ones for a few hours (full ears and pony/overflow tail basically), and sometimes they do that to their fur too since its also a never-seen-before occurence and that usually weirds out the public (so, instead of looking Half&Half they change their coat to one side or the other)
• Basically, depending on how much they would have to interact with strangers, Shim just hides with their shapeshift potion or use their echanter powers hhh
• Due to being both a black and trickster magic user their diet consists in meat and sweets ¦^3 (the same as Chanty, pretty convenient when making meals hshsh)
• It was discovered that their tears, depending from which eye they come, have different magical properties: black-purple side tears are golden, have a mostly sweet but still a bit salty taste and soothing, comforting happiness-inducing properties, and white-fuchsia side tears are indigo, have a bitter taste and heating, rage and power-bursting properties. Be careful not to mix them when using them for brews, magic or not! (Such strong magical contrast its not definetly a good thing)
• Its also interesting how Shimmer uses their purple hand to perform trickster magic and the fuchsia to use black magic (if this is a conscious thing its unknown)
