About

Vodsel spawned in a smal lake at the back of a meat product proccesing factory, and lived there for a while drinking the polluted water and feeding on the meat residue and the very few plants that grew there since they didnt want to hunt (and this diet gave them lots of digestive problems which derived in other issues) and even though being afraid of leaving (they felt safe there despite everything) eventually the urge to find a more pleasant place to live grew enough so they wandered from here to there, but basically the people everywhere rejected (some more, some less) them for their creepy-angry looks and acting weird and erratic (due to being shy, isolated, disoriented and uncomfortable for their health issues and dealing with chronic pain, all worsened by rejection) and couldnt stand it anymore so they decided to ran away to a place where there would be no one that could reject them and their search journey ended up in Citrine Island (they got there by chance thanks to hiding inside a merchant ship which has to stop there). Vods really liked the isolated place and their calming, warm vibes so thats where built them new home and lived alone until someday looking for a rare variant of an herb only found in the most dangerous of the islands orange forests they were attacked by the local fauna and couldnt move, and here is where they healing powers awakened (very weak tho) and thanks to them managed to maintain themselves alive until Shimmer found them by chance, and took care of them, and their friendship (and later ❤️ with them and Chantrea) began uvu

They always had a special interest in plants and when they discovered that some of them could ease their pain they grew a passion for herbalism, and going on trips looking for herbs and fruits they could make soothing beverages with, passion that could properly develop in Citrine, (and enforced once their powers finally functioned), so when Shimmer told them about the Brew Shop proyect they said hell yeah lets go with it, and the rest is history

Nowadays they are the one that brings all the fresh ingredients to the bar, traveling everywhete to the most distant and dangerous places to grab the rarest ones, only the best quality here, helps Shim making some of the brews and also help Chantrea by being an errand peep, mostly giving the repaired machines or customs to the owners in their homes

Once settled in Pernith, after a while they also developed an interest in more "serious" medicine, and dreams with getting stronger soon with their magic to become a decent doctor and properly cure people in their own clinic (but they would travel to peoples houses too ofc) 

PErsonality

Vodsel is a shy, fearful and pretty clumsy vullowisp that still act kinda weird sometimes (consequences of their past issues) and can be cold and even unpleasant at first but they always have good intentions, and once you know them you see they are just a baby afraid of suffering more, and you can get to see their cute side. Due to facing rejection all their live, they get devoted easily to people that treat them right (thats why almost instatly fell in love with Shimmer and Chantrea lmao), avid to return the favor by helping in everything they can. Once they get comfortable they become more talkative, goofy and even cheeky! 

They are also very altruist in nature, and always willing to help everyone in suffering, will do everything on their hand to ease your pain, with their magic, brews, or just listening to your problems <:^>

trivia/notes

• Their healing magic is still kinda weak due to being actived very late, and not properly developed, basically a consequence of their terrible diet (as a white magic user they needed to have a well balanced diet of fruits, veggies and meat) and how it affected their own health. They apply it via touch (the healing brews they make are not magical, but sometimes uses magic ingredients when they have), and currently they are able to prevent infections and decay in general, and eliminate toxins and harmful particles. They need to concentrated a lot to actually have their magic working, and it drains fast, them included, who need to rest a lot more than the others to recharge properly
• Due to their health problems once they got the opportunity to improve their diet Vods grew pretty fussy with food and drinks, can can only eat or drink something after cleansing it first with their magic, they can spend HOURS with that (and ofc they also cleanse all the ingredients in the shop, a process that takes DAYS......... but fortunately thanks to their magic too the ingredients remain as fresh as if just picked so Shimmer doesnt mind at all the wait <:3)
• They make LOTs of funny faces expresing their emotions when they think no one is looking, but the angy ">:<" one is them default asdf
• When they feel nervous or ankward they wriggle softly their tail, like a snake
• Their blood tastes literally like melted candy, and its really delicious to people that like those flavours, but you better not drink it since its poisonous too <:3 (how will affect you really depends on your constitution and resistance to toxins and for the average its not mortal but still not enjoyable at all xdd, they can cure you tho)
• Despite the consequences, Vods survived their atrocious diet thanks to being exceptionally resistant to toxins and chemicals (they would have died very soon if it werent by that lmao, they just came out with more or less minor issues), and thats why their blood its poisonous in the first place lol
• They breed silk moths as a hobby in their appartament (and use them in their brews, and sells the untreated silk later) 
• They also make candles! of all shapes and scents <:3
