Profile

Personality:
Watcher is very violent in nature. He was born with the purpose of killing any humanoid creature that moves. Watcher is normally extremely irritable and if held back from a goal, he will violently lash out at whoever or whatever is responsible. During times of stalking and hunting, Watcher is calm and composed, using reasoning to deduce where his prey will go if it attempts to flee.

Abilities and Capabilities:
Watcher is extremely light on his feet. He moves swiftly and silently without sound, with his sharp claws he stabs victims in the chest until they eventually die. His eyes shine a brilliant white, if one were to stare Watcher in the face they would put themselves in danger of going blind. Watcher's body radiates a mysterious and dubious aura. If any living creature is nearby, the aura triggers the release of dopamine and endorphins, relaxing the victim and minimizing caution. Watcher's top running speed is an estimated 35 kilometres per hour. Watcher is capable of understanding human speech and body language and is incapable of communicating in any way.

Story:
Early Life:
Watcher was conceived by the mind of the young DreamleaperSpook Somnium. Watcher's oldest memory was of him tracking down the young Spook Somnium through the massive expanse of forest and wilderness that was Spook's reality. Watcher would spend weeks searching and stalking, waiting for her to make a sound and reveal her location. He had been born with the purpose to kill anything that was humanoid and alive, a task that he felt unfulfilled in not being able to accomplish. The meaningless weeks of searching were depressing and long; the misery faded in an instant when he heard Spook on one particular morning. He ran at her all at once, desperate to get his first kill. His sloppiness would cause a fear in Spook that his aura of comfort was not strong enough to suppress, Spook would return to the Neutralplane an instant before what could have been her death. Watcher would never see another living humanoid creature for years upon years. The silence and enormous expanse of Spook's reality was maddening. In the skies of Spook's reality he would often see the massive jellyfish monstrosity, Tentoria, who would regularly enter and exit Spook's reality in a search for living things to shock with her lightning and consume. Watcher would manage to hide from her each time, he was safe among the trees. On several occasions, Watcher would stumble upon the small stone statue, Magisni, who sat idly waiting for living creatures to pass by. Watcher took little notice of the creature whose screams were simply irritating to him. Over the years that flew by, Spook's reality would decay. Spook had not returned from the Neutralplane in many years, the world required her presence to be sustainable. The life around Watcher was all slowly dying, along with Watcher himself.

Later Years (Pre Twisted Reality):
Spook's reality had been heavily distorted, the sky had shifted from a bright blue to a deep blood red, the trees and wildlife had all died. Few living things remained in the reality which was dark and desolate due to Spook's neglect. One night, Watcher would come across the first somewhat humanoid creature he had seen in a long time. However, this creature was much taller and stronger than he was. His attempt to sneak up on the creature and kill it backfired completely. Watcher was easily overpowered and enslaved by the monster, which was called Tresn. Tresn had been acting under the influence of his creator, Cirem, who was on a mission to kill the remaining members of her family: Spook Somnium, Corydon Somnium and Cessa Somnium. From the moment Watcher had been captured by Tresn, he became a tool in that mission. Watcher attempted to escape Tresn's custody multiple times, each time he was simply recaptured by Tresn. Tresn would have Watcher wander in the realm of The Gateway, a realm which connected every reality together. The realm took the form of yet another massive and dark forest, a setting Watcher grew tired of. Watcher was meant to catch any living creatures roaming the area, he was to kill them and bring the body to Tresn. During his time in The Gateway, Watcher would manage to kill several humanoid creatures, of which Tresn would refer to as "Villagers". Over time, Tresn would manage to capture and control a few more dangerous creatures. Tresn would discover the small living statue, Magisni, who would prove to be a useful tool in helping Watcher find and kill lost souls in The Gateway. Magisni would scream at any beings who approached it, exposing their location to Watcher. Several more creatures met their demise due to this strategy, each one more satisfying to kill than the last for Watcher. For a short time, Tresn had given Watcher the task of wiping out a civilization of cultists who lived in a temple within the reality of Corydon Somnium. Watcher would roam the perimeter of the temple grounds by day, remaining unseen among the trees that surrounded it. At night, he would pick off cultists one by one, a rate that had proven to be too slow for Tresn's taste. Tresn would take the mission upon himself, leaving Watcher to resume his usual post in The Gateway. Tensions began to rise in Cirem's mission to kill her family. Her former husband, Cessa Somnium, had taken control over monsters and creatures of his own, Watcher would encounter and avoid them on numerous occasions. Cessa and Cirem both had eyes on Spook's reality, awaiting her eventual return. One night near the entrance of Spook's reality, Watcher would hear Magisni scream, alerting him to the presence of an unseen stranger.
