Personality:
Tresn is a monster and he is fully aware of it. He knows what he was created for and he enjoys it, violence and the suffering of others. He is malicious and cruel, needlessly killing anything of no worth to him. Tresn enjoys taunting enemies and victims, he views everyone as below him, including his creator. In order to earn Tresn's respect, one would need to be just like him, at least from his point of view. He admires violent and egotistical qualities, he has a short temper and little patience for those who he doesn't respect. Tresn uses creating machines as an artistic outlet, basing his monsters off of different people and monsters that he has seen. He is extremely cunning and resourceful, he has his own traitorous ambitions and plans to keep them secret.

Story:
Early Life (The Prototype):
Tresn was first created by Cirem when she was 23 years old. Tresn was first created as a quadruped who lacked the ability to speak, only being able to listen. When Tresn was first created, he was given a rash and violent nature. A being with a strong bloodlust that needed to be satisfied at any cost. When he was created, he knew that he was supposed to be loyal to Cirem and never questioned that loyalty, despite wanting to kill her he never tried to. Tresn was born due to confusing circumstances that he did not understand, he simply knew that he should find and kill or retrieve Spook Somnium and Cessa Somnium. He had images of them in his mind, detailed descriptions provided to him by Cirem. Once she felt that he was ready, she sent him on a mission: kill Cessa Somnium. Tresn's blunt and forceful nature led to Cessa escaping and returning to the Neutralplane safely, a failure that led Cirem to give Tresn some improvements. A more calm mind with sharper senses and better vision, his eyes were moved outside of his television head for the time being. Cirem then gave Tresn a new task: find and retrieve Spook Somnium. The mission came close to being a success, however Tresn's impatient and brute nature got in the way once more. Upon finding the young girl in her reality, Tresn couldn't help himself. He chased her down and cornered her, deciding that he would kill her rather than bring her safely to Cirem. Wishing to hear his victim suffer, he chose to start by pulling out her eye directly from her socket. This action led to the child disappearing, returning once again to the Neutralplane. Tresn discarded the eye, leaving it within Spook's reality. This final failure led Cirem to make drastic alterations to Tresn as a whole.

Later Years:
After the final improvements were made by Cirem, Tresn was bipedal, capable of speech and independent thought. While just as violent and brutal, Tresn now had patience and cunning. He formed his own plans and ambitions, he spent many years waiting for the circumstances to be just right for his plans to come into fruition. Tresn learned much about Cirem's past life in this time and the nature of his circumstances. An enemy of the family that Cirem had once loved, he was created to bring them to Cirem to finally give her vengeance. As a gift to Tresn and a test of his abilities, Tresn's first task in his new form was to rip apart the inhabitants of Los Remeia, which took the form of a massive city full of people, victims that Tresn would enjoy tearing to shreds. Tresn would never have a taste of such carnage for a long time, the experience of ripping apart so many people would leave Tresn wanting so much more. Cirem would regularly send Tresn to scout out The Gateway, charting and locating as much of it as possible. Tresn would eventually start to discover monsters and creatures whose origins were unknown. One by one, Tresn would overpower and capture these monsters which would be used for Cirem's own purposes. First he found Watcher, a dark creature which was fast and light on its feet, useful for providing a threat to an unsuspecting Cessa or Spook Somnium. Watcher's most dubious quality was an odd chemical reaction it caused in those around it. Watcher's presence caused the release of dopamine and endorphins, relaxing victims and making them less likely to escape. Overpowering this monster was a simple task for Tresn, he outmatched it in both size and strength. The next creature he discovered was within the reality of Spook Somnium, Magisni. A small stone statue that simply existed to scream at whatever being approached it. Magisni's purpose would be to expose the location of any wandering fools in The Gateway. Tresn would notice the synergy Watcher and Magisni had, Magisni would terrify victims and expose their location, Watcher would go in for the kill. Next, once again in the decaying reality of Spook Somnium, Tresn would discover a massive rotting man, The Puppeteer, who controlled grotesque puppets with it's strings. Tresn easily ripped through the puppets, The Puppeteer attempted to control Tresn with his strings to no avail, Tresn lacked a nervous system and could not be controlled. The Puppeteer greatly outmatched Tresn in size, overpowering him was not an easy task. A long and brutal confrontation left both sides exhausted. The Puppeteer grew so desperate that he made an enormous show of strength that would not be forgotten by Tresn. Using his strings, he was able to take hold of the moon which was not far in the sky of Spook's reality. The Puppeteer flung the moon at Tresn, attempting to crush him with it. Tresn was able to evade the Puppeteer, over the long confrontation Tresn was able to gather enough of The Puppeteer's own string to subdue him. The Puppeteer would be kept in Cirem's reality, in an underground theatre where he would be given Cirem's son, Corydon Somnium, as a new puppet to torture and keep hostage. The final monster Tresn would overpower was Tentoria, a colossal jellyfish that tormented and scorched the lands that it would enter. Using The Puppeteer's strings, Tresn was able to subdue the beast and eventually shape it into a weapon. Tresn and The Puppeteer grew to despise each other over time, Tresn only kept him around due to Cirem's wishes, which he grew more and more frustrated with.
Tresn hated her restraining him from killing, which is what he had originally been intended for. He started questioning his loyalty, which was the only thing he'd known. Tresn started asking Cirem about the Neutralplane, wishing to learn more of this reality full of billions of people that he couldn't access. He learned of Dreamleaping and how it was spread. He wished for Cirem to return to the Neutralplane and bring him more victims to kill, infinite victims which he could torture for eternity. Tresn grew more and more furious with her each time she refused to return to the Neutralplane, he found her inability to return to the Neutralplane due to her emotions stupid. As he grew more and more hateful towards Cirem, he had an encounter with a being which he found most interesting. A totem monster which attacked him, The Puppeteer and Jester. As the fight went on, it seemed as though the being only cared about killing Jester, a realization that intrigued Tresn immensely. Eventually he drove the creature off, not being able to kill it or control it. He chose not to tell Cirem of the encounter, believing that it was not on a need to know basis. Tresn grew to hate Cirem over time, believing that she was pathetic and weak. He stopped himself from killing her for the time being, seeing as through her he was still able to find victims to kill, and serving her was the only purpose his life had at that point in time. Cirem wanted Tresn to start making machines and contraptions that would further give them an advantage against Cessa, who had been amassing his own dangerous collection of creatures that he controlled. These included a beast with razor sharp claws, it was fast and agile. A deer who lacked the capability to die, and most frighteningly, a massive living oak tree. It lacked nerves, meaning strings wouldn't stop the monster. Tresn started making the contraptions that Cirem demanded, taking artistic liberties with his machines and basing them off of the creatures and monsters he saw and fought. He eventually made 12 of them, each intended to bring him more victims to torture and kill. Tresn grew more and more fearful of the oak tree that threatened him greatly, eventually he discovered a book written by Cessa Somnium himself, it had been discarded in The Gateway. Inside the book, the oak's weakness was revealed to Tresn. In the reality of Cessa Somnium, the tree would receive sustenance from the moonlight. Remembering The Puppeteer's show of strength in Spook's reality, he hoped to have him pull the moon in Cessa's reality out of the sky. He and The Puppeteer snuck through the massive Gateway and entered Cessa's reality undetected. At the moment where The Puppeteer should have tried to grab hold of the moon with his strings, he instead revolted. He attempted once more to escape from Tresn, attacking him and trying to flee. Tresn began adopting a method of punishment with the fleshy man, every time The Puppeteer would wrong him, he shoved a pin into his body which he was not allowed to remove. That day he shoved four pins into The Puppeteer's brain (due to the immortal nature of The Puppeteer, this was not deadly). Tresn grew more and more frustrated with his surroundings, believing he was surrounded by idiots. As his life seemed hopeless, a notable person caught his attention. His name was Fido Tenacity, who over time he deduced was a Dreamleaper, just as Cirem was. His plans of infinite victims from the Neutralplane suddenly returned, all Tresn had to do was wait for his opportunity.

Pre Twisted Reality:
Cirem was satisfied with Tresn's work on the 12 contraptions meant to kill Cessa. She now wished for a contraption to lure Spook to her. The previous more mindless contraptions that Tresn made required the organs and pieces of Tennians from Fido's reality to function. This new contraption needed to be intelligent. Cirem and Tresn both knew that there was only one subject whose organs and brain were suitable. Tresn was furious, the one person who Tresn needed to fulfill his plans, Fido Tenacity, was to be killed for the purpose of a stupid little machine. Tresn broke into his home in the middle of the night and took him captive, taking him to his lair, one of Los Remeia's many abandoned structures. It was there where he would make an attempt to try and see if Fido would take any interest at all in his plans, which he did not. Reluctantly, Tresn killed Fido, though he did enjoy causing his slow and painful death.
