Ayane Honjou

full-time gyaru girl. ayane is a younger youkai, meaning she is only a little under two hundred years old. she passed away in prostitution due to poor health and hygienic circumstances in the brothel, but resumed her existence as a kejōrō. ayane has the opposite of time-lag - though she safely resided in kuromori for most of her life, as the outside world grew more advanced, she quickly got bored by the stagnant life of the kingdom. around the start of the 20th century, ayane therefore quickly moved to fogmere to take in the new blossoming culture. 

now, ayane is hanging out with sigalit and her friends. though she’s no longer in the profession, she still enjoys the company of people who’ve gone through similar things as she has. furthermore, she’s caught on to a new trend: as of 40 years ago, she’s become a full gyaru girl, and despite it going out of style by now, has no intent of dressing any less tackily.

ayane loves all things cutesy. she speaks with a drawling and laid-back accent, and inquisitively nags at every given opportunity. despite being dead and living among supernatural beings, she’s actually scared rather easily. her maiden’s heart hasn’t daded through the years, and truth to be told, she hasn’t seen her own face since the hair started growing in its way. what if, like, she looks like some kinda ghoul or something?! no way, that’s way too scary! she won’t be able to sleep! nope, these bangs are staying where they are!
