Matriarch Narleth

full title: Narleth, Matriarch of the Torik Clan. the ambitious, strong and beautiful leader of an australia-based ogre clan, and one with a twist. the matriarch is intimidating, with physical prowess and an overwhelming presence. their clan has not been at war for decades, and most theorize that this long-term peace comes from the sheer power radiating from their leader.

however, it may have another cause. the matriarch is in fact soft at heart.
she is called the matchmaking queen - arranged, or rather encouraged marriages are still commonplace in many ogre clans, and the matriarch has a supreme talent for finding the perfect fit for, well... anyone! the second her royal advisors and any of political value leave her chambers, narleth drops all pretense of being even a shred intimidating, and becomes a bubbly and adoring marshmallow of a woman. she’s a hopeless romantic, and wants any that step into her throne room to find that perfect someone. she loves all her subjects to bits!
still, she has not allowed the ogre fighting spirit to fade, despite the aim for peace in her leadership. to fuel passionate fire in her people, she has sought out all sorts of activities where no one has to be at riks of fatal harm, such as leading clan-wide martial art classes every morning. at 7. she would love to sleep in, but... if it makes her darlings happy, it makes her happy!
