| Mienhard Puglia [Sibling-Deceased] Growing up, Scott was the proverbial runt of the litter. The smallest and youngest of their many siblings and as such it was fairly common for him to get the scraps of things. He'd be the ones to get the hand-me-downs, or be told there wasn't enough money to do the things he wanted, and so on and so forth. However, this wasn't always the case. Not because it wasn't true but because he had a friend in his corner in the former of his sibling Mienhard. She was the one who always had Scott's back. If Scott needed help he was the one that Scott could turn to. Meinhard had Scott's back and Scott had her's. This continued when Meinhard had the idea of moving to America and living the proper America dream of owning land, having a farm, and just making a go of it. So when the idea was put forward in front of his younger brother, Scott, he was quick to jump on the chance. However, these dreams soon came crashing down when Meinhard came down with what would soon be found out to be a terminal illness. The money that they had raised going to more and more costly medical bills and debt. While Meinhard always put on a smiling face and tried to make sure Scott kept moving forward eventually Scott had to deal with reality when he was the one who had to arrange things like her final wishes on his behalf. Scott is still not over the loss of their sibling but he tries to live the dream that they both shared for a bit. | |
| Alex Raneri [Cousin] Scott and Alex had been fairly close cousins growing up. Seeing each other regularly and Alex even living with Scott and/or his many siblings when her parents had to be out of the country for work or deployed. The two got along, had fun, but otherwise they mostly saw each other on rare occasions. However, following the death of Scott's sibling Meinhard, Alex, with her parents agreement that it was best for her to settle in a town she had effectively grew up in with how often she ended up, came out to move in with her older cousin. Serving as the ever-positive foil to the depressive and morose atmosphere. Scott is immensely thankful for his cousin for being the thing that kept him from sinking in too deep into despair by being the other person living in his home rather than him just being on his own and quite literally away from everyone he knew. While they have the occasional debates over things like the contents of the fridge, power usage, and other small things like that. Scott couldn't ask for a better cousin than Alex. | |
| Vardah Lasout [Friend/Trainer] Scott met Vardah more or less by accident. The gym he had happened to choose to make an effort of working out at more consistently just happened to be the one where Vardah was employed. The two happened to have close enough and flexible schedules to allow for them to work together. And Vardah was tolerable enough to work with in comparison to a few of the meet head personal trainers that Scott had noticed working there. The two are slowly getting to know each other, talking about themselves, and their lives (even if Scott is less willing to give up that information than Vardah) and while they might not call each other best friends? Scott is glad that he likes the person he works with. |
