Valerie

Born and raised outside of Valentia, She came to the island to pursue a career and education in magic, with the hope of enlisting as a Sorki, an independent militaristic defense force that specializes in sorcery. Despite her exemplary capability in the field, she was denied on account of the fact that she is human, and has less mana as a result. There is but one other way to be accepted: to defeat a world-ending threat. Burdened with debt and a degree of pending worth, she operates her own cafe waiting for an opportunity that may never come.

Humans are one of the oldest species that have ever been recorded. While it is unlikely that they were the first, they seem to follow a very foundational approach to a class-IV organism. They are well balanced in their abilities and construction, not having many strengths, while not having many weaknesses either.
